The house
Gite Malbec has a surface of 75 m². The ground floor includes a living room, an open kitchen and a separate storeroom. The upper floor comprises a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with three single beds, a separate toilet and a bathroom.
From your private terrace you have a view over the swimming pool.
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, vitroceramic stove with 4 basins and oven, a microwave, a fridge, a coffee maker, electric water kettle, a toaster, a large and a small pan, four cooking pots, oven dishes and numerous small kitchen equipment.
Who wants to can use the joint washing machine. In your storage space is a drying rack, ironing board and iron.
On request we deliver you a baby cot and high chair.

In the middle of rural France, surrounded by pasture and woodland, Le Manoir is build against agains a hill situated in the quiet hamlet of La Forge, hidden at the beginning of the sheltered valley of the Borrèze river (an affluent of the Dordogne river). Souillac is three miles distance away, a popular market town with lots of restaurants, shops, banks and other facilities and famous for its abbey church with beautiful sculptures.
Le Manoir is only 3 miles away from the A20 exit 55, the highway to Toulouse and Spain.
Souillac lies on the intercity line Paris-Toulouse. Every day five trains, having left Paris five hours earlier, stop at Souillac’s railway station.

Opnieuw onze vakantie in september doorgebracht bij Jan en Marion in Le Manoir te Souillac. Wat een fijne ervaring. Mooie en verzorgde plek, comfortabele ruime gîte, sympathieke gastheer/vrouw die altijd voor je klaar staan en dat in een streek waar zoveel te beleven valt en waar de zon schijnt. Wat wil een mens nog meer. Wij zijn grote fan en keren heel graag nog eens terug!

Activities
Souillac is situated in the valley of the Dordogne. This valley cuts through three departments: the Lot (Quercy), the Corrèze and the Dordogne (Périgord). Le Manoir is located in the Lot, but just five kilometers next to border with the Dordogne department.
The area is one of the most beautiful and particularly liked of France and offers an ideal combination of landscape variations, an overflow of culture and the excellent cuisine, all influenced by the mild Mediterranean climate. Le Manoir is the ideal point of departure to visit the many impressive castles and medieval villages, as well as prehistoric cave paintings and carvings. We invite you to discover the richness of the Quercy-Périgord.
Rather sporty?
For walkers and cyclists are the hills around Le Manoir a challenge. Your own bike can be stored safe and dry in our barn. If you like, you can rent a bike in Souillac.
Are you a golfer, or do you just want to try it? Less than 2 km away is a beautiful (but according ro experts also difficult!) 18-hole golf course.
And one of the all-time classics is of course a canoe trip on the Dordogne river. You can choose the distance and duration.
