The house
Holiday home Nadal is a detached stone house. The house has original fireplaces and on the terrace there is an old stone bread oven. In the living room you will find a spacious three-seater sofa with some comfortable chairs.
Next to the living room is the fully renovated kitchen with dining area (high chair available), 4-burner stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee machine (Senseo and regular) and what is needed to cook delicious meals. Eating is also possible outside under the covered terrace where there is also a BBQ.
The bathroom is fully renovated with shower, toilet and sink. Sheets and shower towels are provided.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. A double bedroom with a double bed of 160 x 200 cm. The second bedroom has two beds of 90 x 200 cm. A cot can also be provided on request. Downstairs is a third bedroom with a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, and a private bathroom.
The swimming pool is right next to the gite and is only for the tenants of the house. The pool is 8 x 4m and 1.50m deep, and has a terrace of 3.5 x 11m. Plenty of space to sunbathe on the loungers. If your party consists of eight people, there is the possibility to rent the double studio nearby.

The house is in a rural location. It is peaceful and quiet. In the middle of nature, you can relax and de-stress with the whole family. With a bit of luck you can see deer walking by.
The traffic is limited to the postman and the occasional passer-by.
The small village shop is at 6 km and for a supermarket you have to go 15 km.

Wij hebben genoten!
Wat een heerlijk karakteristiek huisje welke van alle gemakken is voorzien. De slaapkamer beneden met aangrenzende badkamer was voor onze zoon van 16 ook fantastisch.
In de warme weken was het fijne, ruime zwembad geweldig.
Laten we ook eigenaar Wilfried en zijn vrouw en dochter niet vergeten. Wat een hartelijke, fijne mensen die indien nodig meteen voor je klaar staan.

We zijn twee weken te gast geweest bij Wilfried, die een geweldige gastheer was. We hebben genoten van het zwembad en de mooie omgeving. In de vroege avond was het heerlijk om te gaan wandelen en de herten voorbij zien komen.
Restaurants, food & wine
Wine lovers can go in all directions here. Cahors, Duras, Buzet, Monbazillac, and of course the Bordeaux wines are all around us.
And what about food? In each village you will find a restaurant that prepares the most delicious local dishes. And these are of course served with the wines mentioned above.
The many medieval villages are beautiful to see and most of them have a local market where you can taste all the local dishes such as Maigret de Canard, foie gras and prune d'Agenais.
In Montaigu De Quercy (where the supermarket is) you have a market every Saturday morning. On Thursday you can go to Libos (20 min) where a large market can provide you with all local products. In Moissac (40 min) there is a big market on Saturday and Sunday.
Several evening markets in the small villages around us are very popular on different days of the week. Local and international products are prepared and consumed on the spot.
Activities
The surroundings are perfect for hiking and mountain biking.
You have the possibility of making excursions on horseback in the nearby riding school.
On the Lot ( a river at about 20 km from here ) you can do waterskiing or jet skiing.
At 4 km is a lake where you can fish.
Evening markets where you can gather for local delicacies, and where you can dance afterwards (high season).

Cahors is a beautiful city to visit (50 min).
Large cities such as Toulouse and Bordeaux are located about 2 hours from our village. Carcasonne is a bit further (2.5 h) but definitely worth a day trip.
The many sights and beautiful surroundings make it well worth spending your holiday here.

Additional price info and offers
A period runs from Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m.
A 30% deposit is required with the rental agreement. The remaining amount + € 300 deposit must be paid 8 weeks before arrival
If cancelled in writing up to 6 weeks before arrival, half of the prepaid rent and the full deposit will be returned.
The final cleaning is included in the price, although we ask you to leave the house in an orderly and clean condition. In case of major negligence (everything messy) additional costs will be charged.
The deposit of € 300.00 will be returned within 2 weeks after the rental period, without demonstrable damage.
