The house
Natural stone comfortable house in the middle of nature on 18 ha of private land 3 km from the river Tarn completely restored, tastefully decorated. Peace and quiet guaranteed.
Ground floor: kitchen-living room, easy chairs, wood-burning stove (Godin).
Bathroom with bath.
Central heating (oil heating).
Internet 4G in the gîte or WIFI in the common area.
TV : Flat screen
First floor : a large bedroom with 1 double bed 140 x 200 cm, view of the valley. A small bedroom with 2 single beds 90 x 190 cm.
WC and washbasin.
Second floor : a low sleeping mezzanine with 1 or 2 extra mattresses (on request), suitable for children.

The Mas Brunet, a 17th century stone farmhouse, is situated on 18 ha of private land, woods, meadows, stream, 7 km private footpaths.
An asphalted road of 1,5 km leads to the house.
In front of the house is a large vegetable garden; there is a well .
The house has been thoroughly restored in the last 40 years in the style of the region and is now one of the most beautiful houses in the area. An article about our houses and our musical activities in the Tarn Valley appeared in the magazine "Living in France" 2014-1
In the main house : music room with Yamaha grand piano C6 (fully restored in 2020) and Erard grand piano (restored in 2020), library, internet.
The river Tarn and the beach near the village of Trébas are located 1 km from the house and can be reached by a footpath (about 1400 metres (walking)) and 3 km by car. In summer, the beach is guarded by a lifeguard.
Tennis courts, canoe rental in Trébas: in the village of Trébas you will also find a grocery shop, bakery, butcher, doctor, pharmacy, post office, restaurants, garage.
Every Sunday morning there is a small market in Villeneuve sur Tarn. In the summer there is a market on Sunday morning in Trébas. Furthermore, there are local markets in several places in the area.

The Mas Brunet is located 35 km east of the city of Albi, which since 2010 is part of the Patrimoine Mondial de l'Unesco (downtown, cathedral, musée Tou;louse-Lautrec;

Charmant huisje midden in de natuur. De eigenaars zijn schatten van mensen , met een warm hart.

Rustig gelegen en eenvoudige, authentieke gîte bij zeer vriendelijke eigenaar op terrein. In de omgeving prima gewandeld, bezoek aan Albi gebracht met museum Toulouse Lautrec en kathedraal, vooral veel natuur en rust. Dorpje biedt net genoeg om even wat te gaan drinken, zwemmen in Tarn of wat brood te kopen.
De internetverbinding was tijdens ons verblijf niet optimaal, met regelmaat geen 4G, meestal 3G. Zeker niet onoverkomelijk, maar houd er rekening mee.

Volop genoten van deze idyllische plek, paradijsje van rust, in de Tarn. Uitermate gastvrije mensen, de bibliotheek was een sensatie. Voor schrijvers is de gite absoluut een toplocati😊Dorpje Trebas is vlakbij, voor een lekkere lunch en een prima bakker. Aanraders in de nabije omgeving zijn Albi met de oude kathedraal en het museum van Toulouse Lautrec. Ook Cordes sur Ciel is zeer de moeite waard. Van harte aanbevolen, deze locatie.

At the market of Trébas (on Sundays in July and August) local products: cheese, duck, vegetables, peaches from the area. Honey and honey vinegar, Gaillac wines.
