The house
Le Sauvignon is built with ecological materials such as wood and lime and has a special view over the vineyards. The walls have retained their originality from the large limestone that is already more than 250 years old. The oak wooden beams are nicely visible. This open space has lots of light and overlooks the vineyards with a private terrace facing south.
The luxury kitchen has a cooking island from where a nice view is outside. Furthermore, an oven, large refrigerator, a new Krups coffee machine and plenty of work space are available so that delicious dishes can be prepared.
The space is divided into a bathroom with double sinks, large shower and a separate toilet. The mezzanine bedroom has a beautiful wooden floor, oak beams and a lovely large bed (1.80x2.00) that can also be used as 2 single beds.
For our clients we have an information books with walks, VTT routes, where to eat and what to do.
Le Sauvignon has a private terrace facing southwest, ideal for relaxing, reading a book and enjoying our delicious Gaillac wines. There is also sufficient shade available. The terrace has loungers, dining table and chairs. Puech Blanc is built with limestone and inside it stays cool.

PuechBlanc is located in the 'golden triangle' in the Tarn. 15km from Albi, Cordes sur Ciel and Gaillac. 45min from the beautiful city of Toulouse.
The supermarket is 10 minutes away and many beautiful Bastide villages nearby. Andrea and Ian get fresh bread during the months of July and August! And we prepare a delicious meal on arrival.
We have a big variety of local restaurants in the area.
Easyjet will fly to Toulouse from London, Mancheseter and Bristol.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad bij Puech Blanc. Mooi terrein met charmante, leuke gites (en lekker bed!). Ik voelde me gelijk thuis met de hartelijke ontvangst van Andrea en Ian. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van de welkomst maaltijd op de aankomstdag. Heerlijk gegeten en het was heel gezellig om de andere gasten te ontmoeten. Je hebt helemaal je eigen plek, maar je komt elkaar natuurlijk wel tegen bij het mooie zwembad. Dus aanrader om even met elkaar kennis te maken.
Het was ontzettend warm in de week dat wij er waren, dus we hebben heel veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Super!
Elke dag een vers eitje door de kippen gelegd op ons terras. De kat kwam elke dag een knuffeltje halen. Je kan brood bestellen, dit staat dan 's ochtends voor je klaar. De vijgen werden net rijp, dus ook nog elke dag vijgjes plukken. Uitzicht op de wijngaarden, alle rust en stilte. Tegelijkertijd de gezelligheid (als je wilt) van de andere gasten en de hosts. Ambiance all over.Wij gaan normaliter elk jaar naar een andere bestemming, maar hier gaan we zeker nog een keer naar terug. Het is ook een prachtige streek en we hebben nog lang niet alles gezien.

We hadden een heerlijke week in en om Le Pigeonnier. Andrea en Ian deden er alles aan om ons een fantastische week te bezorgen met heerlijke ontbijtjes, leuke tips, het maken van reserveringen, het organiseren van een jeux de boules wedstrijd en van een wijnproeftrip met alle gasten die dat leuk vonden. Erg gezellige sfeer, maar nooit het gevoel dat iets opgedrongen werd. We hebben echt een topweek gehad!!

De gite ligt heerlijk rustig in een mooie omgeving. Van alles te zien op korte afstand, de Bastidedorpen, Albi en ook Toulouse is eenvoudig te bereiken.
Het zwembad is een fijn zoutwaterbad. De gastvrouw Andrea is erg hartelijk en doet alles om je het naar de zin te maken. Het huisje, de pigeonnier zelf is vrij basic.
Restaurants, food & wine
PuechBlanc is located in the middle of the small and old wine area of Gaillac. You are welcome at the 100 different wine domeins to taste. ! On arrival on Saturday Andrea makes a delicious light meal for the guests and also during the week if the guests want it.
The beautifil Bastide villages are all locates around us, as Cordes sur Ciel, Penne and Puycelci. Albi is oncly 20 min away and famous for the newly restored Toulouse Lautrec museum and the immens Cathedral.
Different market towns are in the area and many concerts and wine and danse parties!
And a big selections of cheap and local restaurants.
Activities
We love nature and share it with our guests. Our information book contains many marked, walks starting from PuechBlanc. We also rent electric mountain bikes with many routes! Andrea does yoga exercises at the swimming pool, so who wants to participate is most welcome!
Canoes can be rented not far from us, a great day on the water. beautiful horse riding routes and an 18-hole golf course in Albi.
You ca stay and relax at Puech at our salt water pool and play jeu-de-boules with us and enjoy the Gaillac wine!
