The house
The gite is furnished to a very high standard throughout. On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen, a large open plan sitting and dining room, a shower room and a childrens bedroom which sleeps 3 in single beds. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, a small double room and a family bathroom.
The gite is independent and has its own patio. The gardens, laundry, games room and pool are shared with the other two gites on site and the owners family.

The gite sits in the grounds of a former fermette (with two other gites) on the edge of a very quiet, rural village perched high above the Viaur Gorge. The views from the property are spectacular and there are excellent walks directly from the property. We are just 5 minutes from the RN88 giving quick access to Rodez and Albi/Toulouse.

We have a large range of restaurants within a 20 minute drive to suit all tastes and all pockets; The local wine is gaillac and wine tasting is easily available and there are local markets each day across the region. A real attraction are the nocturnal farmers markets held locally throughout July and August.
Activities
Located on the border of the Aveyron and Tarn, within 5 mins of the main RN88 it is easy to get to all the major attractions in both of these departments. There are activities to suit all tastes and ages, ranging from walking, horseriding, adventure/sports complexes, historical bastides etc. Cap Decouverte in Carmaux (20 mins) is very popular with children of all ages.
