The house
An almost 200-year-old stable has been transformed into a cosy, modern and comfortable gîte.
Gîte la Cour is available for rent all year round.
On the ground floor the living room with open kitchen (equipped with gas cooker, cooker hood, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle and Senseo coffee machine).
On the 1st floor two open bedrooms: 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom (a cot/cradle can be added).
The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
Our gîte is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Welcome to gîte La Cour at our beautiful spot in Chezelle with panoramic views all around of the many
wheat and sunflower fields in a hilly rolling landscape.
Located in the north of Auvergne, also called The Bourbonnais!

Restaurants, food & wine
At 4 km is the village of Chantelle, where there is a bakery, a small supermarket and also a butcher/traitteur.
Bellenaves also has a bakery and small supermarket.
The big supermarkets are a little further away in Gannat and Saint Pourçain sur Sioule.
There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding villages. We can certainly advise you.
And then Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule with its many vineyards and caves, a wine tasting is definitely recommended.
The weekly market, with lots of fresh local produce, is on Saturday mornings in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule.
Activities
Plenty of authentic villages and towns in the area, such as Charroux (voted the most beautiful village in France in 2014).
From April/May, there are plenty of flea markets to stroll around looking for something nice.
The Montagne Bourbonnais and the Auvergne volcano region are easy to reach, the Puy-de-Dôme is the highest volcano of this Chaîne des Puys at 1465 metres.
If you are in the mood for culture or shopping, the larger cities of Vichy, Moulins, Montluçon and Clermont-Ferrand are perfect.
Beautiful churches and castles abound.
Walking, cycling, touring by motorbike, fishing or canoeing, it's all possible in these beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

- Your dog is very welcome! Because the cottage is not that big, a maximum of 1 dog is allowed, and no matter how sweet it is, it is not allowed on the 1st floor for hygiene reasons.
Also, the dog is not supposed to stay alone in the cottage. You can let your dog out immediately outside our grounds. Please use poop bags!
- We have a covered shed available for motorbikes and bicycles.
- In high season you can order fresh baguettes and croissants etc. from us.
- On our 1.5-hectare site there are another 6 camping pitches. Most of them are for people who like peace and quiet, so there is certainly no entertainment.
