Only 5km from the centre of historic Vichy (UNESCO), Le Pigeonnier is a 1-bedroom apartment set in the beautiful grounds of the Château de Champagnat, consisting of 38m2 over 2 floors with air conditioning and heating. It has it's own private entrance via ancient stone steps and a private roof-top terrasse. Enjoy use of the pool from June to September, and book a slot for the hot tub! It's the perfect stop-off point to break your journey between north/south and east/west. Only 58 km from Clermont-Ferrand, 55 km from Moulins and 75 km from the Puy de Dome - a great location to explore the beautiful Auvergne region from.

The château is 20 minutes' walk from Cusset and 5km by car to Vichy. We recommend you have a car at your disposal. It is set in 2.5ha of parkland which you are welcome to explore or picnic in, and is surrounded by fields.

The château is set in beautiful parkland, where you can find many activities such as golf, horse racing, the casino, opera, theatre, thermal baths, the Allier river and it's water sports, or take one of the guided walking tours around Vichy. Many other seasonal activities are available such as kayaking, paddle board, escalade, tennis, mini-golf. Further afield you can explore the beautiful Puy de Dome or visit the historic towns of Moulins or Clermont Ferrand.
