The house
A spacious living room with kitchen of about 55m2. with a beautiful large fireplace, a cozy seating area, satellite TV and a dining table for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with induction hob, dishwasher and microwave. Above the kitchen and dining area there is a loft.
On the upper floor, which is accessible via the loft, there are two bedrooms. A large bedroom with sink, double bed and cot. A small bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
The outside staircase leads to the "Pigeonnier". This tower has been converted into a cozy bedroom with a single bed and washbasin. There is a double bed of 200x140 cm.
All other beds are 200x90 cm.

"Le Rancho" is located near the village of Darbres, roughly between the cities Privas and Aubenas. The house is set in the countryside, about 8 minutes walk from the village, the property is 2.5 ha. with a river. Situated at an altitude of 400 meters, the house is accessed by a gravel road and a narrow bridge over the river L'Auzon. In front of the house there is a large meadow, where you have a beautiful view over the valley. "Le Rancho" is located in a protected area with excellent walking in the immediate area. More tourist destinations and sports opportunities are located on about ten or twenty minutes by car.

Als je rust en ruimte zoekt en dat dan ook alles voor handen is? Dan is het hier! Wat een mooie plek. Heerlijk stil lekker donker 😎
Het is een lekker ruim huis. Wat opviel was dat eigenlijk alles wat je thuis heb hier ook aanwezig is.
Omgeving is prima leuke markt lekkere restaurantjes.
Elke dag even in de beek rommelen.
Dorpjes zijn erg fijn om te bezoeken.
Montelimar kan je overslaan...
Het bruggetje is wel wat smal... Maar je kunt de auto ook bij de schuur laren staan.
Contact verloopt erg goed.

Zeer charmant en rustig gelegen huisje. Als je houdt van rust en wandelen of fietsen in een mooie omgeving dan is dit echt een aanrader. Ook de mooie dorpjes in de streek zijn de moeite waard

Algemene beoordeling: 10
Een prachtige vakantiewoning, met veel liefde en respect voor de streekgerestaureerd. De omgeving is uitzonderlijk mooi, en de rust overvalt je. Bij de ochtenschemering hebben we een vosje over het maaiveld zien wandelen. De inrichting van de woning is uitstekend. De meubels zijn degelijk en bieden meer dan voldoende
comfort. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust. Wij waren op vakantie als koppel, zonder kinderen, en met een middelgrote hond. Maar zelfs voor grotere gezinnen is er voldoende plaats, zit- en slaapruimte, etc. Een absoluut pluspunt is het overdekt buitenterras, met mooi zicht op de omgeving, en beschutting tegen zon en wind. Een dagelijkse uitdaging was het bruggetje over de rivier, maar na enkele passages werd dat routine. De rivier zelf heeft ons meermaals verkoeling gebracht, inclusief zwempartijtjes in de vele zwemkuilen. Zeker voor kinderen (en voor honden) een topper. Winkeltjes en grootwarenhuizen zijn op redelijke afstand bereikbaar (met de wagen ong. 20-tal minuutjes). Kortom, topvakantie gehad. In vergelijking met vele andere vakantiewoningen in Frankrijk is dit een uitzonderlijk "natuurhuisje".

This is a 'wine and food' area! In the villages and towns you will find many cafés and you can choose from numerous affordable restaurants.
Activities
Here you can make lovely walks in a beautiful setting. There are many caves in the area which are open for visits. Canoeing is possible on the Ardeche River, Riding in nearby stables. In Aubenas there is a lovely market on Saturday. The town of Montelimar is well known for ist Nougat. Extensive information in the gite.
