The house
Among the green hills of the Ardèche is the holiday park Domaine Les Rives des l'Ardèche. The large communal outdoor pool is free for guests staying at Villa de Soleil and in the garden you can enjoy the new Jacuzzi.

Large, spacious seating area with sofas, armchairs and television with Dutch-language channels. Dining table with chairs overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden. Double sliding doors giving access to the covered terrace.

Outside: Fine mature garden with large lawn. Covered terrace with garden furniture and views of the surrounding hills. Raised area at the back of the garden with trees providing the necessary shade in summer when playing a game of jeu-de-boules. On-site parking for 2 - 3 cars.

The cultural wealth of the Ardeche
Although mainly dominated by rugged natural beauty and swaying vineyards, the area has many picturesque villages. Lively Ruoms, just north of the villa once began as a monastery. Around it, a village slowly grew that is now a popular holiday spot. During your stay, a visit to the city of Alès is also a must. Do you prefer to stay close to the holiday park? Then be sure to spend an afternoon in cosy Vallon Pont d'Arc, a historic town and centre for cultural tourism.
It is not surprising that so many nature lovers opt for a holiday in the villa. The great variation in altitude and climate guarantees a rich variety of trees, plants and flowers. It is an excellent area for spotting all kinds of birds of prey, and towards nightfall deer, roe deer and wild boar appear at the forest edges. Countless bats hibernate in the many caves.
Gorges de l'Ardeche
Rugged natural forms manifest themselves in the famous Réserve Naturelle des Gorges de l'Ardèche and in the nearby Bois de Païolive. The boulders in this forest sometimes seem strewn by a giant hand. Erosion has given them all sorts of bizarre shapes. The many caves in the Ardeche are also worth a visit during your holiday!
