The house
Villa Ensoleillée is a completely detached 10-person air-conditioned villa with private pool and large garden which includes its own jeu-de-boules court, located on the 4* holiday park Domaine Les Rives de l'Ardèche. The villa is very carefully maintained and receives annual updates.
Accommodation: 10 people, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
The living room has plenty of living space for everyone. The cosy fireplace, nice big TV, board games in the sideboard, the long dining table and cosy accessories complete it all. The beautiful kitchen is equipped with all conveniences and appliances including a large fridge, a combi oven-microwave, a dishwasher, a Nespresso/(and Senseo) coffee machine, kettle. There is also a washing machine. We have a nice extra fridge available.
All bedrooms have air conditioning, which ensures that you sleep well in a hot summer. 2 Bedrooms with double bed and 2 with 2x2 single beds and plenty of closet space. 1 bedroom has a bunk bed. The beds are made upon arrival.
The villa has a very spacious garden with gutter pool, jeu-de-boules court, a long garden table under the extended veranda with adjustable chairs, sun beds around the pool and parking for three cars. Outside has recently been completely renovated: a larger extension to the house - a new larger terrace around the pool - and a beautiful new pergola for more shade. Outdoor toys for children such as table tennis bats, air mattresses, etc. are in the storage room.
Around the pool is new garden furniture including sunbeds, a number of parasols, two large garden tables, adjustable chairs with a lounge set under a lovely cool mulberry terrace. The private pool is open from April to October. There is a 2nd lounge set under the new pergola. The garden has a new fence around it which makes the house extra suitable for kids (and/or dogs on request). Nice BBQ is also available.
The villa is equipped with solar panels. Due to the many hours of sunshine in the Ardèche, we are now fully self-sufficient in energy. You can charge your electric car at the charging point in the carport.

We hebben een prachtige tijd gespendeerd in deze zeer mooie, luxueus ingerichte villa. Het zwembad en de tuin met de vele zitplaatsen zowel in de zon als in de schaduw zijn een pluspunt. Vanuit het mooi en heel ruim park kunnen verschillende activiteiten gereserveerd worden. We zijn gaan kajakken en canyoingen. De broodjesservice is ook een pluspunt. Het enige wat wij gemist hebben is een grote gasbbq. We hadden een elektrische gril gehuurd maar die vonden wij te klein voor 7 personen. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Nog een welgemeende dankjewel aan Carel en Inge voor het steeds paraat staan met de nodige uitleg en goeie tips.

Although the surroundings of Villa Ensoleillée are mainly dominated by rough nature and swaying vineyards, the area has many picturesque villages. The lively Ruoms, just north of Villa Ensoleillée, once started out as a monastery. Around it, a village slowly grew up which is now a popular holiday spot.
During your stay at Villa Ensoleillée, a visit to the city of Alès should not be missed. Would you rather stay close to the holiday park? Then be sure to spend an afternoon in Vallon Pont d'Arc, a historic town and centre for cultural tourism.

The beautiful surroundings of Villa Ensoleillée
It is not surprising that so many nature lovers choose to spend their holidays at Villa Ensoleillée. The great variation in altitude and climate guarantees a rich variety of trees, plants and flowers. It is an excellent area for spotting all kinds of birds of prey and towards nightfall, deer, roe deer and wild boar appear at the edge of the woods. Countless bats hibernate in the many caves.
Gorges de l'Ardeche
Rough nature forms manifest itself in the famous Réserve Naturelle des Gorges de l'Ardèche and in the nearby Bois de Païolive. The rocks in this forest sometimes seem to have been scattered by a giant's hand. Due to erosion, they have taken on all kinds of bizarre shapes. The many caves in the Ardeche are also worth visiting during your holiday!
