The house
Ground floor: Spacious living room, with air conditioning, sitting area and Dutch television, fireplace. Dining area with six chairs (2 extra in bedrooms) and open kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, Senseo coffee machine, oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer/dryer combination for your use.Master bedroom with air conditioning, extra long beds (210 cm) and access to terrace, bathroom with bath (shower in bath), washbasin and toilet. Second bedroom for two persons. Sleeping and bathing area has separate access from the inside.
First floor: Two double bedrooms with air conditioning. Bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Covered terrace with seating area. All bedrooms have a wired internet connection for fast connection, also wifi is present and available in the villa. Beds are made on arrival.
Outside:Architect-designed deep north-facing garden, with sun at all times of the day, but more importantly, also shade in the hot summers! Private pool (9 x 4.5 m, depth of 0.60 - 2 m), surrounded by terrace with 6 luxurious sun beds. The private pool is open from April to October.
Raised area with garden furniture in the shade of mulberry trees. Covered terrace with luxury garden furniture so you can enjoy dining in the shade. In the cooler months you can use the pool heater (extra cost). Petanque court.
Parking for 2 cars and the possibility of charging your electric car (extra cost).

One of the most beautiful spacious holiday villa for eight people in the Ardeche, near the picturesque village Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. On the holiday park you can use the facilities free of charge, such as the large communal swimming pool, the playground for small children and the tennis and volleyball courts.

Villa Merle is een fantastische villa, voorzien van alle gemakken. Lekker groot (afsluitbaar) zwembad met voldoende (lig)stoelen erom heen, overdekt terras welke gedeeltelijk door glas is afgeschermd waardoor we ook met regen lekker buiten konden zitten. Grote koelkast met apart 4 vrieslades zodat we voldoende ijs op voorraad hadden voor de warme dagen. Mooi park met vriendelijke en behulpzame receptie waar je met al je vragen terecht kon. Echt een aanrader!

The cultural wealth of Ardeche
Although the area is mainly dominated by its rugged natural beauty and swaying vineyards, it has many picturesque villages. The lively Ruoms, just north of the villa, once started as a monastery. Around it, a village slowly grew up that is now a popular holiday spot. During your stay, a visit to the city of Alès should not be missed. Would you rather stay close to the holiday park? Then make sure you spend an afternoon in Vallon Pont d'Arc, a historical town and centre for cultural tourism.
It is not surprising that so many nature lovers choose for a holiday in the Ardèche. The great variation in altitude and climate guarantees a rich variety of trees, plants and flowers. It is an excellent area for spotting all kinds of birds of prey, and towards nightfall, deer, roe deer and wild boar appear on the forest edges. In the many caves, countless bats hibernate.
Gorges de l'Ardeche
Rough nature forms manifest itself in the famous Réserve Naturelle des Gorges de l'Ardèche and in the nearby Bois de Païolive. The rocks in this forest sometimes seem to have been scattered by a giant's hand. Due to erosion, they have taken on all kinds of bizarre shapes. The many caves in the Ardeche are also worth visiting during your holiday!
