The house
In an authentic atmosphere, gîte Coeur de lavande offers generous spaces with an area of 200m2 . The gite is very well and fully equipped and located in a beautiful spot overlooking the mountains.
Ground floor: the entrance opens onto a bright and pleasant living space consisting of a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with Godin stove. The living room overlooks a covered terrace with views and access to the pool. On the ground floor you will also find a utility room and a separate toilet.
Upstairs: a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet. Three bedrooms: a master suite (a 160x200 bed) with en-suite shower room and two spacious bedrooms (two 90x200 beds).
The swimming pool (10x5m) is shared with the owners. Between seasons, the pool is heated by solar panels. It is secured with a fence and an alarm.

Le gîte Coeur de lavande est situé au pied du Col de la Sausse à 714 m d'altitude dans un écrin de verdure entre les champs de lavande, les prairies et les montagnes. Des chemins de randonnées partent du gîte pour des promenades de quelques heures où à la journée. C'est un lieu calme, propice au repos, à la détente et en connexion avec la nature.
Non loin du gîte, les activités et idées de sorties sont nombreuses : la Ville de Dieulefit réputée pour ses fameuses poteries et ses ateliers; les villages perchés à visiter comme celui de Poët-Cellard où de Grignan; Vaison-la-Romaine et son domaine archéologique; le village de Saoû avec sa magnifique forêt et ses sites d'escalade.... sans oublier les nombreux marchés provençaux où vous pourrez découvrir et goûter aux délicieux produits de la Drôme Provençale.

Que ce soit sur les nombreux marchés typiques mais aussi directement dans les fermes auprès des producteurs, vous aurez le plaisir de goûter à la gastronomie locale qui fait la réputation de la Drôme : ses olives noires AOP de Nyons, son huile d'olive, son Picodon fromage de chèvre AOP au lait cru, ses brasseries et bières locales sans oublier ses nombreux vins (Vinsobres) et ses bonnes tables où sont servis des produits frais et de saison.

The gîte Coeur de Lavande is located in the Drôme Provençale, 20 km from Nyons and Dieulefit, in the middle of the region known for its olives, lavender and cicadas.At an altitude of 714 metres, surrounded by meadows and lavender fields, it is the ideal place for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
The gîte is ideally located to discover all the treasures and activities our beautiful Drôme has to offer. Gourmets can indulge in the many typical Provençal markets, where you can taste delicious local produce, such as Nyons olives and Picodon goat cheese with PDO, and why not take a trip to Vinsobres for the excellent wines ..... If you are curious, visit the hilltop villages of Poët-Célard, the castle of Grignan or Vaison-la-Romaine, famous for its Roman remains.
For nature lovers, there are some exceptional and colourful hiking trails from the gîte, as well as the pleasure of watching the vultures in Rémuzat.
