The house
This is a detached holiday home with private pool. The house has 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room with living kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen is brand new (2023) and fully equipped. The house is modernly furnished. For families with children everything is available (cot, high chair, but also toys and games etc) In the living room and in the upper bedroom there is air conditioning. Not in the 2 downstairs bedrooms but they stay pretty cool because of the location.

Our house is located in Mollans-sur-Ouvèze. A beautiful old village where you can also find two bakers, a butcher and a small supermarket. There is also a lovely terrace on the pretty bridge. Mollans is located on the border of the Drome and the Vaucluse. A beautiful area with something for everyone. Vaison la Romaine and Buis les Baronies are a 15-minute drive away. Both towns also have weekly markets. In Vaison you can also do the larger groceries. There are several large supermarkets here (including an Intermarche and a Lidl).

Restaurants, food & wine
Provence is obviously the place for foodies and wine lovers. The area is teeming with wineries. Fun to do a tasting or just buy a nice bottle to take home. Good restaurants abound so you can enjoy somewhere different every night if you'd like. But it is also lovely to do some shopping at the market and prepare a nice meal in our fine, fully equipped kitchen while enjoying a glass of wine.
Activities
A few minutes' walk from our house are the Gorges du Toulourenc. Besides taking a very nice walk through this gorge, you can also play in the river with children. Building dams, splashing, catching tadpoles; fun guaranteed. Furthermore, Mont Ventoux is of course nearby. The place to be for cyclists. But even if you're not a cycling fanatic, it's fun to ride up here. There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Both more challenging and just a nice lap on a road bike, e-bike or mountain bike. If you are more in search of some action and culture, Vaison la Romaine is a lovely town, as is Buis les Baronies. Larger cities such as Avignon or Aix-en-Provence are also within easy reach. Looking for an amusement park, climbing park, swimming paradise or something similar? That too can all be found in the area. Information is available in our house.
