The house
Flat Chateau 1 is a chateau flat of 56 m2 located on the ground floor of the chateau. It is beautifully situated with views of the park, the swimming pool, the village and Mont Ventoux. There is cosy living room with sitting and dining area, a separate kitchen with over and dishwasher, a spacious bedroom with 2 beds, hall with storage space, separate toilet and a bathroom with bathtub/shower. In the living room there is a bed cupboard with another good double bed. The flat is decorated in provencal style, tastefully furnished and fully equipped. Of course, there is heating/air conditioning. Château des Gipières is located on a beautiful estate with a large swimming pool, tennis court, restaurant and boules court. From the pool there is a beautiful view of the village of Montbrun-les-Bains and Mont Ventoux. There are several seating areas around the castle and swimming pool, where you can enjoy outdoor dining and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view.

The estate Château des Gipières is located in Montbrun-les-Bains, one of the most beautiful villages of France, in the northern part of Provence. Baker, shops, pharmacy and restaurants are within walking distance. In the vicinity are picturesque villages with old town centres and weekly Provencal markets. A little further away are interesting cities such as Vaison-la-Romaine, Carpentras, Orange and Avignon. For wine lovers, there are beautiful wine routes.

On the estate itself is the fine restaurant L'O des Sources". In the village and its immediate surroundings, there are various restaurants and cafés. There are tables d'hôtes where typical Provençal dishes are served, there is a good italian/pizzeria and there is also a crêperie. Châteauneuf-du-pape, Beaume de Venise, Gigondas: these are names that need no introduction to wine lovers. Many domains offer guided tours and tastings.
Activities
Château des Gipières is located on a 4.5-hectare estate that includes a large swimming pool with terrace, a restaurant, a boules court and two tennis courts. Many activities are possible in the immediate surroundings. Next to the Château des Gipières estate are the thermal baths with baths fed by the healing springs of Montbrun-les-Bains. Besides treatment for rheumatism and respiratory diseases, among others, there is also a wide choice of beauty and pampering packages. The mountainous surroundings of Château des Gipières are impressive. Cycling enthusiasts and hikers will be in their element here. For the sporty cyclist, climbing the infamous Mont Ventoux is a real challenge! For active holidaymakers, there are opportunities for horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning and rock-climbing. Five kilometres from the park is a beautiful climbing park with challenging tracks for young and old. Just outside the village there is a river in which you can also swim.

Even een berichtje over ons aangename verblijf op Chateau de Gipieres. Na wat getour door de bergen kwamen we dan aan in deze oase van rust. Genietend van de natuur, de Franse levensstijl en mooie omgeving kun je genieten van alles wat een Nederlander belangrijk vindt; goede service, een NL krant en een NL toelichting op de mogelijkheden van de locatie en omgeving. De zon draagt bij tot een aangenaam verblijf en optimaal genot van het zwembad. Een aanrader

Beste Yvonne en Toine,
Bedankt voor het huren van jullie heerlijke, comfortabele en schone appartement. Wat hebben we genoten van de prachtige omgeving, het zwembad bij het kasteel en niet te vergeten het weer (alle dagen zon!). Ideale locatie ook voor kinderen, 's ochtends gezellig naar een marktje in de buurt, 's middags aan het zwembad liggen en vervolgens picknicken in het achterliggende bos bij het kasteel. Als een god in Frankrijk! Er is zoveel te doen, die 10 dagen waren dan ook echt te kort, dus we hopen zeker een keer terug te komen in jullie appartement.
PS. ook de complimenten voor de handige faciliteiten in jullie appartement, van Senseo, dvd-speler tot en met de kaasschaaf aan toe!
