The house
Our holiday apartment (gite) has a separate entrance and is on the first floor of our house. The gîte is constructed in such a way, that you will feel at home, without being seen and completely independent from our living area. Upon arrival, all beds are made.
1st floor :
Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, food processor, toaster, pressure cooker, washing machine, mini set radio/CD
Bedroom La Dauphinoise : 1 bed 160 x 200
Bathroom with shower cabin, wash basin and toilet (hairdryer)
2nd floor :(under a beautiful traditional roof construction)
Living room with sofa, 2 armchairs, television, DVD player, library, board games.
Bedroom La Dent du Chat: 2 twin beds 80 x 200
Bedroom La Savoyarde : 2 beds 90 x 200
Toilet
An iron and ironing board are at your disposal.
For the youngest there is a wooden cot with bedding, a bath, a high chair and children's crockery.
Your dog is welcome (please check beforehand).

Our holiday home; Gîte "Les Tulipes" is located in the Isère in the hamlet of Curtille in the municipality of Les Avenières, at the foot of the mountains: Le Bugey and L'Avant Pays Savoyard.
The house is completely free between the fields and meadows and offers you a place where you can relax and enjoy the view of the mountain: Dent du Chat (1390 m).

Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van deze vrij gelegen en zeer schone gîte van Brigitte en Henk. Wat een mooi rustig plekje met een fantastische tuin voor de kinderen om te spelen en een prachtig uitzicht! De ontvangst was zeer warm en het contact met Brigitte was erg prettig. Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken!

Mooi ruim rustig gelegen appartement. Veel mogelijkheden tot activiteiten in de omgeving: Fietsen langs de Rhone, meren en bergen. Aardige behulpzame eigenaren. Leuk overdekt zitje buiten.

We are surrounded by the wine regions of Bugey and Savoie, where you can visit wine cellars.
For the Bugey, you have the choice of: Chardonnay, Gamay, Poulsard and Pinot as well as sparkling wines.
For the Savoie, you have the choice of: Abymes, Apremont, Chignin, Roussette, Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot.
On the culinary side, we are close to Lyon (the capital of gastronomy) where you can choose from numerous restaurants.
Nearby, you will find specialities such as Gratin Dauphinois, Ravioles du Dauphiné, Crozets, Raclette, Tartiflette, Fondue Savoyarde (cheese fondue), extensive cheese boards with Saint-Marcellin, Tomme de Savoie, Reblochon, Tarte aux noix, Saint-Genix, among others.
Activities
The cottage is ideally located for day trips.
For nature lovers and those who enjoy walking there is a choice of the mountains : Le Bugey, l'Avant Pays Savoyard and La Chartreuse.
If you are looking for a lake, you have the choice between: Lake Aiguebelette and Lake Paladru, which are half an hour away.
The lake of Le Bourget (Aix les Bains) can be reached in 45 minutes.
You can also go canoeing at 10 min distance from the holiday home (gîte).

Tourist tax is 1,00 € per person (from 18 years of age) per night, not included in the rental price.
Please note that prices are calculated for 1 full week.
If you want to book less than 1 week (minimum 2 nights and outside school holidays) please contact us.
If you want to come with 2 persons (outside July/August), we ask you to contact us in advance, to make a special arrangement.
