The house
A compact but complete holiday home with a mezzanine (high sleeper) bed.
On the ground floor you enter the kitchen. On this level you will also find the bathroom and toilet. The upper floor is the living room part with sitting area with wood stove and dining table, via a staircase you step into a bed under the wooden beams of the roof. There is also a sofa bed, of course for sitting and possibly for sleeping. The cottage is very cosy and atmospheric. With the electric radiators, even in less warm periods of the year, the temperature in the house can be kept pleasant at all times.
Not suitable for people who have difficulty walking.

Das Häuschen ist sehr klein und sehr nett mit schöner, großzügiger Terrasse und eigenem Garten. Die Lage und Aussicht direkt am Viadukt ist spektakulär. Guido ist ein zuvorkommender und netter Vermieter. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Auvergne is world famous for its cheeses, including Bleu d'Auvergne, Cantal and St. Nectaire. In the local village restaurants, you can enjoy local specialities such as truffade, diverste potée and tarte for no more than 15€ every day.
Activities
Hiking, swimming in river and crater lakes, several waterfalls within a stone's throw, near the spring water towns of Vichy and Châteluyon. In the surrounding villages there is a market every day of the week where regional specialities are sold. Near the volcanic area of the Auvergne, of which Puy de Dôme is the most famous volcanic mountain. From the top you have a fantastic view over this unique area. At its foot lies a beautiful golf course and the amusement park Vulcania.
