The house
In the Morvan, a 15-minute drive from the historic town of Autun, lies this beautiful old presbytery now serving as a holiday home with mini-campsite.
This lovely complete house with kitchen, two bathrooms and 4 bedrooms sleeps 8 people. There are 2 spacious double bedrooms, 1 family room (double bed and a single bed) and a single bedroom. Downstairs is a spacious lounge where you can sit at the table or in the sitting area with wood-burning stove. Outside in the spacious garden there is a large swimming pool with heated outdoor shower and a trampoline and tennis table for the children to use.
Guests of the old vicarage have their own little garden with seating area in front of the house that only they can use. The rest of the garden and the swimming pool are shared with possible camping guests (max 6 tents) and our family (my husband and I and our two sons aged 0 and 2). Between our house and the old vicarage is a barn and the shower/toilets for the campsite.
If your party is larger than 8 people, there is also the possibility of renting a 4-person fully equipped trailer tent and a large fully equipped 4-person tent. (If these are still available) We can also set up your own tents if there are still spaces available on the campsite.

The old presbytery is located in a small quiet village, on the road between Autun and Chateau Chinon. As a result, you are quickly on your way to the many beautiful spots in the Morvan. We will have a current range of activities in the area and brochures for activities ready for you in the house.

Activities
The landscape of the Morvan is characterised by hills, vast forests, blue lakes to swim in and babbling rivers to play in. There is a wide variety of activities for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. Numerous short and long walks are possible from the house, just walk out the door and you are on your way. So too for cyclists and mountain bikers. There are many swimming and fishing lakes in the Morvan, the most famous being Lac de Pannecière and Lac de Settons. Both about half an hour's drive from the house. Closer to home you can also find beautiful walks along babbling streams and waterfalls, such as Gorges de la Canche 5 minutes away.
If you feel more like soaking up some culture, the town of Autun is definitely worth a visit. Whether you like markets or history, Autun has something for everyone. And the brocantes and vide-greniers (flea markets) should not be missing from this list either. There will be a current agenda in the house of these markets.
