A stylish 1 bedroom cottage with a wealth of old oak beams and many original features. South east facing patio area with wooden garden furniture and parasol.
Lounge area with ceramic tile flooring, exposed beams and comfortable 2 seater sofa.
Fitted kitchen / dining room with all home from home appliances, electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, washer / dryer, stainless steel cooker hood, large fridge, microwave etc.
A beautiful double bedroom with wonderful original oak beams, parquet flooring and quality bedding having open plan feature bathroom area.
The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a fold out occasional bed ideal for a child (€30 supplementary charge applies - please request on booking).
A feature bathroom area with free standing roll-top bath (no shower), wc Upstairs is accessed via spiral staircase.
A couple of things to note: this gite does not have wifi in the cottage. There is wifi on the property, but not to this cottage.
If you are tall, the bedroom is in the eaves. The bed is a standard double.

La Marette is set in approximately 2 acres of garden and orchard bordered by fields and woodland. A perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Situated close enough to the N12 to be a great advantage to reach airports, ports and cities such as Rennes, but not so close as to be a nuisance. St Malo port 50 minutes, Dinard airport 30 minutes and Rennes airport 40 minutes away.
La Marette is perfectly situated to explore Brittany.
Beaches are about 40 mins away, and you have lots to choose from. Saint Cast Le Guido has a lovely beach and as you drive around the point the views always takes my breath away as you come round each corner you come to yet another beautiful bay.
Dinan is a beautiful town and very quirky with its cobbled streets and wonky buildings – Thursday morning is market day in Dinan and well worth the visit.
If you are a cyclist or enjoy a good walk there are many cycle routes in the area and up at Jugon les Lacs plenty of walks around the lake as well as various other activities.
From Mont St Michel to the Granite Coast there is plenty to explore.

Ontzettend leuk en mooi ingericht huisje het ontbreekt je aan niets. Hartelijke ontvangst van Severine. Mooie grote tuin met leuke zitjes. Daar hebben we helaas niet van kunnen genieten dat liet het weer niet toe. Genoten van de omgeving en mooie wandelingen gemaakt. St Melo en Dinan prachtige plaatsen.
Wij zijn niet groot 1,64 en 1,74 voor langere personen niet zo geschikt. Maar er zijn nog 3 andere hele leuke huisjes op het terrein.Martin Burger from Lieren,
We hebben een goede tijd gehad in de Bretagne met 10 dagen geweldig weer (zon, zon en zon) . Het huisje zelf droeg voor ons beperkt bij aan het plezier. Daarmee was het geen slecht huisje. Integendeel. De ontvangst en gastvrijheid door Sarah is warm, alles is aanwezig en de tuin is fantastisch. Een te klein bed en een te klein bad (Nederlanders douchen) op een voor ons te lage verdieping maakten het echter ook behelpen. Ben je boven de 1.80m, dan kan je beter een andere plek zoeken.

Bonjour,
Le gite du Charme est une maison bretonne du 19eme siècle, la chambre est mansardée c'est vrai, il faut donc faire attention aux poutres. En revanche, la baignoire dispose désormais d'un long flexible et d'un lit queen size.
Un canapé convertible double a également été installé dans le séjour si nécessaire.
Nouvelle propriétaire, il me tient à coeur de prendre en considération les remontées des locataires afin de toujours améliorer les lieux.
Autre précision, une pompe à chaleur a été installée dernièrement, offrant également une possibilité de climatisation écologique en été.

Restaurants in Caulnes, Broons, St Meen le Grand and Dinan - plenty to choose from.
With a chef living onsite, during high season you can enjoy the Plat du Jour in your gite.
Activities
There are plenty of Golf courses available from 20 to 40 minutes away.
Lots of walks and bicycle routes along the River Rance and through the countryside.
It is possible to hire bicycles locally, delivered to the gite for your convenience.
Jugon les Lacs has a variety of water sports and Dolo has a zip wire water skiing lake.
From Dinan to Rennes to Dinard to Cap Frehel, plenty to explore.

La Marette consists of 4 gites built around a courtyard.
Parsley Cottage overlooks the garden.
A great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Sorry, no pets and no smoking in the gites.
There is no wifi in this cottage.
Please note, the bedroom is in the eaves and the bed is a standard double.
Additional price info and offers
The gite has an open plan bedroom with bath at the far end. It has a double bed and has room for a cot or toddler bed. Toddler bed is an additional €30.
*Electricity costs – each cottage has an electric meter. A reading will be taken on arrival and on departure - you will find that the standard daily allowance of 8kw should be more than enough during the summer months, however should you exceed this (for heating for example), an additional charge of 0.20c per unit will be incurred and needs to be paid in cash prior to departure.
