The house
Spacious renovated stone "up side down" house from the 18th century of about 100m2 in an oasis of peace and greenery. 2 bedrooms for 4 maximum persons (+ possibly baby)
L'Hirondelle is situated at the end of a country road in the green heart of beautiful Brittany. A special place where you can still enjoy nature and peace and quiet. Centrally located for exploring both the coast and the inland.
The upper floor with wooden floors and very high ceilings consists of a large open modern kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, Senseo, oven, 5 burner cooker and a large dining table with chairs. The open living room has a comfortable sofa and 2 relax chairs, a 104cm flat screen TV, DVD player with movies, free WIFI, books and a bluetooth tower for music. There is a cosy wood burning stove (free wood available) as well as a heat pump as a heater for the off season or air conditioning in summer.
Downstairs are 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with very large stone fireplace and a comfortable bed of 160x200. 2nd bedroom with 2 beds of 90x200.
Spacious entirely new modern bathroom (2021) with walk-in shower 160 x90, washbasin and separate toilet.
Laundry room with washing machine, iron and board, drying rack etc.
From the spacious kitchen you have access to the terrace with garden furniture and BBQ and an unobstructed view over the very large private garden and forest behind (10.000m). Next to the house is another terrace with a garden room where you can relax and enjoy the silence and nature. Hikes start right in front of the door! Small pets allowed in consultation.

Wat een fijn huisjes is dit, echt het is allemaal zo mooi en een warme gezellige inrichting. De tuin is enorm en je loopt zo het bos in. De tuin is niet omheind maar je zit aan een een doodlopende weg, alleen het verkeer van de andere huisjes maar die komen niet bij je huis.
Een echte aanrader, wij willen eigenlijk toch wel elke keer naar wat anders toe maar als het aan mijn man had gelegen waren we dit jaar weer gegaan. De omgeving is mooi en leent zich voor mooie wandelingen.

With its central location, L'Hirondelle is the ideal base for everything Brittany has to offer.
There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the immediate vicinity, various recreational lakes, churches, chapels, abbeys, not to mention the many megaliths (Carnac) and other prehistoric sites, the famous french markets, antique and flea markets, castles, recreational parks, etc.
The nearest southern beaches of Larmor Plage and Guidel are only 45 minutes away. At the house you can enjoy nature and wildlife (rabbits, hares, foxes, deer, pheasants, buzzards, different species of birds etc)...Tennis can be played in the village (free).
