The house
Very comfortable typical Touraine house, all in 15th century "Tuffeau" stone, restored.
.. of around 130 m2, on 3 floors, with its private terrace of around 200 m2 in the garden, placed on the ramparts (12th century) of Loches, in a unique ... and protected location ..
- Very Private, and very quiet in the historic heart of the Royal City, street reserved for residents.
- Very special atmosphere, from the 15th century - the place is in a "protected and restored zone" for the fabulous environment of the historical monuments which surround us - You pass a drawbridge at the entrance of the dead end street, to enter in this medieval street.
- Convenient, all shops and the market are a few meters .. on foot.
- Our car park is closed, reserved, and included in the prices.
Part of "La Maison de l'Argentier du Roy (14th-15th century), where the owners live all year round; Le Gite du Chevalier has its own entrance from the street, and is completely independent.

Our "Gite du Chevalier" ("Knights' Cottage") is in a unique location, on the ramparts of Loches, in the Petit Fort Saint Ours of its Royal City. Very quiet alley, in a dead end, which begins at the drawbridge of its medieval gate (magical place! According to our global hosts who have greatly appreciated it on tripadvisor for a few years).
100m walk.! from the center, and the famous Loches market, all the shops, restaurants, shops ... but without the inconvenience of the noise of a hyper center.
At the heart of the historical origin of Loches (itself, central city of the main Loire Valley Castles, Futuroscope and Beauval Zoo).
Our private, closed and motorized car park is included.
It is an entire house (130m2), from the 15th century, totally restored to quality, and to the authentic, (by ourselves, passionate about history, art and architecture) on 3 levels.
+ 200m² of a vast paved and private terrace, overlooking a large topiary garden of yews, roses and French boxwood, set on the high ramparts for its unobstructed 180 ° view of the Indre valley. (see photos)

We are at the center of the largest vineyards in the Loire Valley, where many properties can be visited, and where wine tasting and knowledge will be one of the possible activities.
In the historic heart of the city, in its most reserved and quiet part, we are nevertheless only a few dozen meters from dozens of restaurants and shops, including our famous market twice a week with its treasures of local productions (very often organic , and of very high quality)
