The house is located in grande Est, a new French department. The village of Chantelle Sherrie is charmingly situated against a hill at the edge of the forest. The house is again on the outskirts of this village with phenomenal views over the hills and fields.

The Champagne region is a must visit for wine lovers and starts about three quarters of an hour to an hour's drive from charming Epernay. For lovers, a visit to a champagne house should not be missed.
Activities
Our house is located on the edge of the Argonne, a large hilly forest area with huge hiking cycling mountain biking and cycling opportunities. The First World War was fought in this quiet rural region. Immediately in the vicinity are many historical sites to visit around this great war.
It is a paradise for nature lovers, with an enormous number of birds, deer, foxes, badgers and so on. An evening walk or a trip by car at dusk always yields spotting of different kinds of animals. About half an hour's drive away you will find the park Argonne découvert. It is a charming animal park with wolves and all kinds of local wildlife.
As a city break, Reims with its beautiful cathedral and champagne houses is recommended a bit closer you will find Verdun, with a large citadel you can visit and some charming terraces along the Meuse. Further back to the north you'll find them with Europe's largest fortress which is well worth a visit. In addition, down the street or an hour's drive are beautiful monasteries museums and other places of interest. In the house you will find a clapper with the various possibilities.
For a day on the water there is about half an hour's drive Lac Barion, a beautiful lake with good facilities and r beaches with a nude also to be visited nature and bird reserve.
