Ideal for people with small children, beach lovers and bird watchers.
The cottage is located on the outskirts of the pastoral village of Favieres on 500 m2 of land.
The cottage has a parking space on the premises.
Within a distance of 5 km lies the bay of the Somme with the picturesque town of Le Crotoy and on the other side of the bay Valery-sur-Somme. Here you can enjoy delicious fish dishes. At the same distance in the other direction is Rue, accessible by train.
There are various types of beaches in the immediate vicinity, ranging from chalk cliffs to endless beaches and 'classic' beaches with waves and children's fun.
Also in the immediate vicinity is Parc du Marquenterre, a bird sanctuary.

De vakantie in de Picardie is ons heel goed bevallen. Wat een mooie streek van Frankrijk. Veel te zien, mooie natuur en vriendelijke mensen. Ons vakantiehuis 'Le Rève' was ook letterlijk een droomhuisje. Heel gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel privacy en genoten van de natuur: vogels, vleermuizen en zelfs een verdwaalde haas!

Afgelopen augustus hebben wij, met onze 3 kinderen, 2 heerlijke weken vakantie gevierd in Favières.
Het huisje is knus en van alle basisbehoeften voorzien. De omgeving is prachtig. We werden erdoor verrast. Met als hoogtepunt: Baai de Somme.
In de tuin hebben onze kinderen zich uren vermaakt. Alles bij elkaar gaf ons echt een vakantiegevoel!A from Amsterdam,
Heerlijk huis, prachtige omgeving. Heel geschikt voor een gezin met twee kinderen. In reistijd net zo ver als Texel, maar dan een leuker huisje, voor veel minder geld en je zit in Frankrijk! Wij waren heel erg enthousiast over deze streek. Het huisje is heel knus en leuk. Kinderen ook erg enthousiast (10 en 13).
Restaurants, food & wine
Le Crotoy and St.Valery-sur-Somme have many restaurants. Of course, the fish restaurants are well represented.
La Clef des Champs' in Favieres is a renowned restaurant, reservations are necessary.
In Rue there is a regional market every Saturday morning.
Activities
There are several cycling and walking routes. One of these cycling routes passes the cottage.
For birdwatchers it is a paradise: 2 migration routes cross in this area.
With some policy, the walking routes may also be used for mountain biking
(Sea) swimming is possible in Fort Mahon or picking mussels in Bois le Cise
The bay is ideal for kite-surfing and sand yachting is popular on the beaches.
In case of bad weather, there is an indoor swimming pool nearby with waves and slides, etc.
Climbing possibilities for kids in a tree park
Horseback riding is possible in many places, also on the beach. Generally Henson horses are used, reliable, strong animals that can be ridden by beginners.
There is a real steam train around the bay of le Crotoy to St Valery-sur-Somme, very worthwhile. Bicycles can be taken along.
In St.Valery you can take a sea canoe out on the water.
If you prefer walking, you can also make a 'Wadden' trip from le Crotoy to St Valery.

Further remarks
This house can be rented together with an adjacent holiday home (separate area, own access). Ideal to go with two families or to give grandpa and grandma their own place.
