The house
Maison de la Roche is a real home from home with everything you will need and more. A beautifully restored farm house in the charming village of Ferrals les Corbieres , The Upper Gite Jardin Bleu (2 ( which shares the same landing at Upper Gite Jardin Violet (1 ) is spacious and airy and retains much of the barn's original character and charm. All the gites are sympathetically decorated and furnished. Open planned with two bedrooms (one twin and one double) shared spacious bathroom with large powerful shower. Cosy sofa with Television and DvD player (dvds supplied ) Large dining area and equipped with oven and 4 ringed hob, toaster, kettle and coffee making equipment ! In the summer enjoy a dip in the pool at the end of a day of sightseeing and sit in the garden in the evening with a bottle or two of wine from one of the local vineyards. There are two apartments on the same floor and can be rented separately or together for families/ groups of friends wishing to holiday together but retains some privacy. Each gite sleeps 4/5. Book them individually or come with friends and family and book all three.
We can also organise wine tastings/tours, pampering days in the comfort of your own gite and cookery courses - thats if you have time in between sightseeing and eating!!
Please note that the gites are reached by a steep staircase which may be unsuitable for some people. Please check with us before booking

Ferrals les Corbieres is ideally situated with easy access to so many places. It is a traditional village nestled amidst lush vine yards, and is within an easy drive of Carcassonne and many other lovely medieval towns. The area is rich in history with so much to see admist stunning and diverse landscapes, from the foothills of the Pyrenees to beautiful Mediterranean beaches. Visit the stunning mini cascades at nearby Ribaute and wander the quaint old streets of Lagrasse

In the village ( a five minute walk) we have two fabulous restaurants - both authentically French - and both offering both ends of the gastronomie spectrum.
There is also a delicious boulangerie
Wine tastings (with tapas) can be organised at the gites but we are surrounded by friendly vignerons who are happy to show off their delicious wines
Activities
We are offering specialist weekends off season and will be therefoe be flexible on arrival days. Choose between learning to cook delicious French cusine ,join in custom made wine tasting and vineyard tours, find your inner Picasso and learn to sketch or paint, we also hold yoga/holistic and general fitness weekends. Activities include guided hiking and cycling...more will be on offer so watch this space and check our website. Bookings need to be made in advance.

All take yourselves off for a picnic (we include all picnic equipment )

Electricity is included in the price but during winter we do ask you be mindful of its usage!
Beach towels are included and also a great supply of beach toys!
