The house
We willwarmly welcome you in our country suite of 160 m² in the Orangerie which adjoins our authentic 18th-century small chateau. Enjoy a few days or weeks of exquisite French country life with us !
Hospitality and conviviality are really important for us: we shall take care of you and recommend you our preferred restaurants, our favorite tours, and beautiful gardens. It is our pleasure to share the beauties of the area, the history of our castle and other anecdotes over tea or coffee or even a drink by the fireplace in our living rooms.
Comfort and chateau atmosphere (cozy fireplace, carefully selected 18th century inspired furniture, with details of precious historical pieces, 18th century style toile de Jouy fabrics, antique dishes, original paintings, and magnificent roman opus paving ... ) .
Description and practical information :
The suite includes a big space with living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom downstairs with direct exit to a private terrace and a luxurious bathroom, two bedrooms upstairs, toilet and shower. Each room has a work desk.

* 2 big bedrooms upstairs, with cathedral ceilings of 3.80 m, share a shower room with toilet
* 1 or 2 sofa beds with real mattresses are available in the bedrooms upstairs (the Pastel suite two of them and the Baroque one).
* Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, vented induction stove, full oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, kitchen mixer, etc...
* Lounge: TV, CD and DVD player and others
* The suite has access to laundry with washing machine and dryer
* Large romantic gardens are shared with the other suite. However, each has a private terraced space with sun loungers, table and chairs and a barbecue. The suites terraces are separated by elegant trellis with climbing plants.

We enjoyed our stay at Suite d'Artagnan. It's not difficult to do so, as the two-story accommodation is fully equipped. We stayed in one of the two residences that were created in the orangery of the small castle about ten years ago. The residences are decorated with taste and attention to detail. At the back, you have a beautiful view of the garden with a pond. Claudia is a fantastic host who can also tell you wonderfully about the history of the authentic 18th-century castle. She also showed us some rooms of the castle. The location is an excellent base for visiting various historical places. Mont St. Michel is about an hour's drive away, and the different D-Day landing beaches can be reached in about half an hour. A beautiful place to visit again."

Claudia is a very friendly, enthusiastic host giving a warm welcome during our stay in the Suite d'Artagnan. Whatever question or worries you have she will try to take care. The house is large and renovation is well done, keeping in mind the original background of the castle with beautiful decoration and the kitchen is well occupied. The garden is ideal to relax and by car you have a lot of sightseeing within 30 minutes.
We consider to come back one day.
