The house
In the countryside south-west of Brive and close to the village of Saint Pantaléon de Larche, lies this stylish accommodation with private swimming pool and great barbecue terrace in South African style. There is even a private pond in the grounds for fishing! This holiday home has been completely renovated and offers privacy and a lovely quiet relaxing place. This converted barn, now a lovely holiday home is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the Dordogne and we are delighted to be able to offer it to our holidaymakers.
Interior
This lovingly renovated barn consists of 4 large, beautifully furnished bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and has a mezzanine with a sofa bed. The holiday home can accommodate 10 people (there is even a fold-out couch in the living room). The entire house has air conditioning. The huge living room and open kitchen give you the opportunity to enjoy your holiday together.
Outside
Around the house are several terraces, so you can sit in the sun as well as in the shade. From the house you have views over the rolling hills and since there are no cars or roads nearby, you will feel comfortable to let your children play freely in the huge garden (several hectares). There is a beautiful private swimming pool with a large terrace to enjoy together. While you drink your glass of wine and prepare the barbecue, the children play in the pool. Do you like fishing? You have your own private pond full of carp, perch, blackbass or whitefish. (Fishing equipment not included)

Super séjour la maison est très accueillante et très bien équipée : on a apprécié les grandes pièces , toutes les terrasses et la vue sublime sur les collines avec en prime les vaches qui venaient paître
La piscine n’est pas grande mais très sympa et très bien exposée
Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et nous ont apporté des draps et serviettes supplémentaires pour nos invités
L’étang est un plus : papa et enfants ont adoré pêcher
De nombreuses activités et sites à découvrir aux alentours, les commerces sont rapidement accessibles tout en étant au calme dans notre collined’Ancona from Zoetermeer,
Moeilijk te vinden maar een prima huis, modern ,schoon en goed voorzien van alles wat je nodig kan hebben. Een boek met info over het huis, super markt, eventuele arts etc miste ik hier. Mensen waren zeer vriendelijk maar spraken alleen Frans.

Sitting on a terrace with a good glass of wine and a nice piece of cheese, what more could one want? France is one of the most important wine producers in the world. The best known vineyards are in Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône and Loire valleys and the Bordeaux area.
Swap the kitchen of your holiday home for a restaurant every now and then. During your holiday, you will enjoy the culinary highlights. The inhabitants of the Dordogne are very proud of their regional specialities. And don't get them wrong: cèpes (mushrooms), confits (duck or goose dishes), walnuts and truffles. And of course, a good wine on the table!

Les Oies de Julia is in a beautiful area and is a great location. There are fun things to do, so you don't have to miss anything. Great restaurants, excursions and activities abound in the area. A beautiful lake right on your doorstep with lots of water sports possibilities completes your holiday stay in this lovely holiday home.
