Villa La Bazonnerie

Our holiday home La Bazonnerie is located in a hamlet on the border of the Indre and the Creuse, Limousin. It is located 60 km from Limoges and 50 km from Gueret, the capital of the department. After the new division, the whole department is part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the capital is Bordeaux.

In the village are about 25 houses and about 20 people live there. It is a very pleasant village with friendly people who are always open for a chat.

Our house has a large garden of about 800m2. In addition, we have on the other side of the country road another garden of 450 m2 with a private pool of 4 by 7.5 meters. The pool is open from 1 June to 1 October at the latest. Both gardens have a veranda, are fenced, lockable and completely private, making it child and animal friendly. In both gardens you can enjoy the sunset while sipping a wine.

From the garden you step right into the house. Here you will find a spacious kitchen diner on the ground floor with all modern conveniences. The hall leads to the two toilets, two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the first floor you will find the living room, large landing and 2 more bedrooms.

Our house is in a hamlet about 5 minutes from the motorway. After a long day of driving this is ideal so you don't have to drive for hours on small country roads. Despite the location, there is no noise from the motorway and it is very nice.

From the garden you step right into the house. First you enter the large kitchen diner where the staircase to the living room is also located. Next is the hallway that leads to the 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. In the back of the house is a second staircase that goes upstairs. On the first floor is the living room, large landing and 2 more bedrooms.

Each bedroom is equipped with a 2-person bed which are equipped with pillows, duvets and bed linen, so you do not have to take this along. In the winter it is heated with an electric heater.

From the kitchen there is also a door to the garden. If you go out here you come behind the house in the garden. First you are under the veranda where a lovely lounge sofa is and you can enjoy the sunset. There is sunshine all day in the garden and the picnic bench can be placed anywhere. There is lighting in the garden so it is nicely lit and you can also enjoy a drink in the garden or play a game in the evening.

The pool and the veranda are lit, there is also lighting around the entire lawn. There are power points everywhere/each lamp has a plug for a radio or phone to charge. There is also a fridge under the porch so you don't have to go back for a drink. In both gardens barbecues are allowed, there is also a firepit by the pool for a cozy fire. It is designed for fun during the day and evening and fully equipped.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the luxuries. Refrigerator, dishwasher, electric cooker, oven, microwave, cutlery, plates, pans, kettle, coffee machine and the like are all present. Especially for the pool there are plastic plates, glasses and containers for salads available. GLASS by the pool is not allowed.

There are also towels, tea towels, washing machine, dryer, a second refrigerator with freezer, satellite TV, DVD player and a TV.
