Les terrasses des Creuse

First about the immediate surroundings: 400 metres away is the centre of the village with bakery, butcher, and a cosy bar-restaurant. Also a campsite. So: right outside with a magnificent view and yet shopping for the necessities of life ''around the corner''! You won't find that easily. Enjoy starry skies, and absolute silence in the department with no industry or pollution.

We have no recenties yet, because we are only now starting to rent. Purchased last year, and put a lot of work into setting it up properly.

Michéle is the young and enthusiastic hostess who welcomes you, or is there at the beginning of your stay to explain some things about the house. And she can tell a lot about the area and give tips. She is also the caretaker and cleaner of the interior. She can also take care of the checkout.

There are two entrances, the most practical being the one to the kitchen. Fully equipped, seating for three adults and three children. There is always a basic supply of groceries, coffee, tea, spices, oil. Happy to replenish if anything runs out. From the kitchen you reach the spacious corridor. The hallway leads to the bathroom with bath/shower combination and toilet, and to three bedrooms, each with a double bed. Two beds have spacious drawers in which, for example, clothes or bedding can be stored. Capacity can be further increased by using the sofa bed in the saloon. That lounge is at the end of the corridor, with dining table, armchairs, closed fireplace, TV etc. A new separate toilet has recently been installed.

Including the sofa bed in the lounge, the house is therefore also suitable for 4 people who each want a separate sleeping area.

The other entrance is via the spacious conservatory/veranda. Here you will also find a hall with a wardrobe, books, games and information on the area.

Fibre optic connection with 500 mbs, and a TV without decoder but with Chromecast. With a personal account you can use your own TV subscription(s).

There is also a spacious conservatory/veranda. The two large sliding doors can be opened in warm weather and closed when it gets chilly.

Downstairs are a garage, the chaufferie and tank for fuel, a cave and a ''summer kitchen''. These rooms are in transformation, and only accessible by arrangement. (for e.g. cycling, running laundry).

Around the house is a spacious garden with a shady tree. Several sets of garden furniture are available. There is a terrace on the south and west sides, and above the garage.
