The house

  • Quiet, built-up area with some traffic

The cottage Côté Jardin was built in the 15th-16th centuries and is located in the friendly village of Cubjac on the river Auvézère with its sandy beach, in the Périgord Blanc in the Dordogne. The Côté Jardin is located in the courtyard and opposite the outbuilding and adjoins the large courtyard with, by extension, the unique garden with its centuries-old trees, The original farmhouse kitchen with its beautiful stone (pisée) floor and huge fireplace (cantou), has a 4-burner cooker with oven, extractor, microwave, coffee maker, other kitchen utensils and kitchen machines and crockery. The kitchen has a large double door to the courtyard.
Next to the kitchen is the spacious dining room with large dining table and chairs and French windows to the garden.
Next to the dining room is the large living room, which could be considered a second bedroom because of the two large beds, which are made up as large lazy sofas, one for 2 persons and the other for 1 person. There is also a sitting area consisting of a sofa and 2 armchairs and a round table with 2 chairs.
In the lounge are 2 large French windows opening onto the beautiful courtyard and garden.
The staircase in the kitchen leads to a spacious "landing" and the bedroom with a double bed, a table and 2 chairs, half a wardrobe. Right next to the bedroom is the spacious bathroom, which has a shower, washbasin, bidet, toilet and a single bed, decorated as a sofa bed.
This house is very tastefully and authentically decorated and accommodates 2 to 4 people. The property also has outdoor tables and chairs and deck chairs.
The beautiful garden, with its centuries-old trees, has various seating areas, dining tables, chairs and loungers and offers you the opportunity to prepare your meals
on the barbecue and eat there, relaxing with your book and your glass of wine.
The courtyard and garden are shared with the guests of the other 3 gîtes on the estate.
The large and beautiful garden is spacious and laid out so that everyone can find a spacious spot with table chairs and deck chairs.

Komen heel graag weer terug!!!
