La Belle Epoque

Where to start ? The communications with Katie following the booking were excellent - timely and full of helpful hints about travelling arrangements, details re additional requirements for the children etc. On arrival - with a lovely welcome box of local produce for us to sample - we knew this gite was going to provide us with our 'happy place' - and it certainly did that. This gite provides the most wonderful base for a family holiday. We travelled with 5 children (age 3 to 7) and 6 adults and there was more to do without ever leaving the gite than we could fit in, even in the two weeks we stayed. The gite is tastefully furbished, with each bedroom room having its own character and the huge open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area providing more than ample space for our party. The thought that has gone into equipping the gite is incredible - there was almost nothing that we thought 'we could do with that' during our stay, (wine glass charms was the only thing that crossed our minds - so that tells you just how well equipped this gite is !!!!)
Katie and Dan were wonderful hosts - available and so helpful but never intrusive. They supplied knowledgeable answers to every question we had about what we might do/where we might go; provided fresh home grown tomatoes every few days; discretely popped in to maintain the pool every other day; changed the towels and bedding midway and generally helped to make the holiday perfect and truly one to remember.

We stayed at La Belle Epoque with a group of friends (13 girls around 30 y/o), we go every year to a big house with a swimmingpool but in our opinion this was the best stay so far. The accommodation is perfect for bigger groups, enough chairs inside, enough chairs outside, all different kind of chill areas. The communication with Katie went really well. We would definitely recommend it!
