The house
Our holiday house is situated in the sunny south in a very quiet region, the Lot-et-Garonne, known for its gastronomy, the good wines, organic farming, fruit,... It is located at the end of a dead end street, one can enjoy the quietness and the beautiful nature around the house.
Beautiful garden (4500m²) with large orchard, terrace around the house with swimming pool 5x11.
Very spacious living room with installed open kitchen with dining table, dining room and living room with TV (satellite), DVD player.
3 large bedrooms: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bed.
2 bathrooms.
All on one level (200m²), at the covered terrace there is an outside staircase to the attic (storage space).

Our house is situated near the village Laggarigue. It lies at +/- 6km from Aiguillon, where all groceries can be done.

The region is known for its fine wines (Duras, Marmande, Bordeaux, Buzet,...) and its Foie Gras. In the surrounding area, fruit cultivation is predominant (apples, plums, kiwi,...) and it is known for its 'Prunes d'Agenais'. Culinary delights are certainly in order.
Activities
In the region you can make very nice walks (there are maps in the house). Also many beautiful villages nearby with nice local markets. Cycling along the Garonne. Excursions to Bordeaux (definitely worthwhile), Toulouse, ... Many nice restaurants in the area.
