Three bedroom gite for 5 people with plenty of outside space and an exclusive in-ground pool.
All bedrooms are on the first floor with the bathroom.
Bedroom 1 - double 150cm x 200cm
Bedroom 2 - either 2 single beds 90cm x 200cm or 1 double 180cm x 200cm
Bedroom 3 - single bed 90cm x 200cm It is possible to put 2 single beds 80cm x 200cm but not recommended due to being a small room, but ok for young children.
All bedrooms have clothes hanging and drawer space.
Luxurious Shower room upstairs - Walk-in shower, beautifully tiled, sink with drawer space under, shelving unit and a toilet.
Spacious gorgeous kitchen - fully kitted with all utensils required, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, hob, microwave, coffee filter machine, toaster etc etc.
Dining table and 6 chairs, additional work surface with 2 bar stools.

The location is rural with farming activity in the nearby fields. The whole property of Lamourache Nord has 7ha so it is quiet with the farming on the periphery of the estate. Nearby there are plum orchards, vineyards and other crops such as sunflowers, wheat and maize.
The property is 1.5km from the village of Levignac de Guyenne where there is a bakery and small grocery store.
In the summer months of July and August, every Friday night, there is a market where vendors sell meals, the village put out tables and chairs to eat and drink, there's music and a great party family friendly atmosphere.
Nearby, 7km the town of Duras with its 13th century chateau, bar, restaurants and supermarket. There are many beautiful villages in the area with markets so you could visit one every day! There are also many activities, canoeing on the Dordogne or local lakes, childrens adventure park, zip wiring through the trees, horse riding etc etc all listed on our website.

Restaurants, food & wine
The wine region is Duras (Bergerac), and there are many vineyards nearby offering tastings where you can buy direct from them.
In Duras there is a Maison du vin which has wine from all the vignerons in the area, and there is the possibility to do a tasting with them and purchase wine.
Many vineyards in the summer months offer tasting events and music events.
Only 40 minutes drive away is the UNESCO town of St Emilion, the place to go for all wine buffs. Its also the most beautiful town on the side of a hill. A wonderful day out for the whole family.
Duck is a speciality dish of the region, cooked as a grilled duck breast or slow cooked as a confit. However there are many restaurants offering cuisines from all around France and the world, and if you are vegetarian or vegan, gluten free etc is easier to find options these days.
In the town of Duras there are a number of restaurants and cafes and Monday is market day and a fun day to visit. There are many villages locally with restaurants and cafes, listed on our website.
Activities
There are lots of places to cycle from the gite. Eymet has a cycle shop where you can hire bikes and have them delivered to the gite.
The roads are very quiet and there are many pretty villages and towns to visit.
For children there is the parc du griffon which has many animals and a water slide park, less than 6km away.
There are several lakes for swimming and canoeing along with the Dordogne river and others nearby.

There is a good 9 hole golf course and driving range 20 minutes away, with a larger 27 hole championship course 30 minutes away.

There are two gites on-site, Les Rosiers and Les Oliviers both offering 3 bedrooms.
There is the possibility to rent both gites for a larger family groups, We do not allow party groups.
Each has their own private pool, bbq area, outside dining area, outside seating area, badminton equipment, boules and other games. The outside space for each gite is very large.
We can offer baby equipment such as cots, highchairs and stairgates.
There is plenty of parking for each gite.
