The house
The GRANGE is a former barn from the mid-1800s that has been given a major makeover. No more dust on the beams, but plenty of atmosphere! The spacious living room invites you to lounge around with a view of the garden. Adjacent is the dining room and an open kitchen that is fully equipped: a 4-burner gas cooker, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and - yes - a coffee machine for that delicious cup of happiness in the morning.
There are five bedrooms in total: three with a cosy double bed (140 x 200 cm) and two with two single beds each (90 x 200 cm). Each room has its own bathroom, equipped with shower, washbasin and toilet. Privacy guaranteed. Outside, you enjoy a private terrace with BBQ and stunning views of the pool. Maximum comfort and a sea of space for groups of up to 10 people.
Ah yes, of course you can also use the rest of the domain: playing field, vegetable garden with chicken run, silence area, oak forest!

Our 2.5-hectare estate is set on a hillside in a peaceful valley, with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. Here you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets, twinkling starry skies and a silence you can really hear.
Central on the property is the main building with our cosy chambre d'hôtes. Adjacent you will find the charming "Maison d'Amis" and the large detached "Grange" - an authentic barn from the mid-1800s. All accommodation has been renovated with care and attention, preserving the character of the buildings.
In the grounds, you will find several places to stay, relax or just sit for a while. There is a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a chicken run and a 10m by 5m swimming pool to cool down on hot days. Those who like to relax a little deeper can also book a beneficial massage on the estate itself. And we even have an 18th-century bread oven on the estate....
Part of the domain is set aside as a quiet area where you can completely relax. With a bit of luck you will spot deer, pheasants or even a wild boar here. Children have all the space they need to play freely and discover nature. Ah yes, our cats and chickens feel like kings!

Restaurants, food & wine
The region around our estate is a true paradise for lovers of fine food and drink. Here, taste, tradition and terroir go hand in hand.
Think of noisettes de Cancon, the famous pruneaux d'Agen (dried prunes with a soft sweetness), Label-Rouge strawberries, Marmande tomatoes, and - if the season permits - fragrant summer truffles. All of these are local treasures that you are guaranteed to come across in markets or restaurants.
Nearby, you will find authentic markets, where producers proudly offer their fresh produce - from artisan cheeses and charcuterie to olive oil, honey and fresh herbs. There is also a market hall where you can go for your culinary shopping all year round.
Those who prefer not to get behind the cooker themselves will find a surprising range of fine restaurants nearby, from cosy bistros to sophisticated gourmet kitchens. Local chefs here work with seasonal produce and let you taste the richness of the southwest.
And then... the wine! The region lies at the intersection of some wonderful wine regions. You can enjoy wines from the Côtes du Marmandais, Buzet, among others, and of course the wine region of Bergerac, with both smooth reds and crisp whites. Many wine estates welcome you for a tasting - a fun excursion as well as a chance to take home something special.
Activities
Our estate is located in Pont-du-Casse, near the city of Agen, between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The region is gently sloping, sunny and quiet, with plenty of space for walking, cycling or just enjoying yourself.
Agen is a ten-minute drive away and offers a charming historic centre between the right bank of the Garonne and the Canal latéral. The city is known for its world-famous plums and regularly appears on lists of the most pleasant places to live in France. In Agen, you will find farmers' and bric-a-brac markets, cosy pavement cafés and the Garonne Canal.
The many bastide villages like Puymirol and Penne-d'Agenais and local lakes like Lac de Bajamont and Parc Naturel de Passeligne are also worth a trip. For families, there are the Walibi amusement park, Aqualand and Happy Forest. Nearby, you can also play golf or hire a bike for a trip through the countryside.
And those who prefer to stay on site will find plenty of peace, views and utter silence on the estate....
