The house
Well-kept detached villa with private pool near Villeneuve sur Lot. Villa Garonne is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The villa stands on approximately 4000 m2 of land and has several terraces. On the property is a separate garage for two cars. Very suitable for families with children. Villa Garonne is suitable for 8 persons (+ possibly 2 children).
Layout
Spacious central hall with cloakroom with access to the living room and kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. The holiday home breathes a sunny fresh atmosphere. The living room is spacious with a sitting area with a three-seater sofa, 2 large armchairs and a spacious dining table. Of course, WIFI, TV and DVD are not lacking. As an extension of the living room, there is a fine open-plan kitchen overlooking the pool. Next to the kitchen is a separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and an extra freezer. From the living room, large sliding doors on both sides provide access to the sunny terrace.
There are 4 bedrooms, including 1 so-called master bedroom with private bathroom. The layout is as follows; On the ground floor (in the right wing) is bedroom 1 with double bed (180×200) and private bathroom (luxury shower with massage jets, double washbasin) and separate toilet, in addition there is a sofa bed in the living room for possibly 2 persons (160x200). The other 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor. Two bedrooms here are furnished with double beds (180×200) and in the third bedroom there is a bunk bed with two 90x200 beds whereby the lower bed can be pulled out to create another single bed. On the first floor is a bathroom with shower and washbasin. There is also a separate toilet on the 1st floor.
Outside
Garonne has a terrace at the front and back with dining table and chairs and lounge sofas. Around the private pool (equipped with alarm system) there are lovely loungers to relax and enjoy the view and tranquillity. You can park your car(s) on the private property near the villa and in the garage. In the garage you will find a pool table, a table football table and a table tennis table.

A perfect location to stay with a pleasant climate with long hot summers and a pleasant spring and autumn. The ultimate experience of 'outdoor living'. And although there is a lot of sunshine here, the weather is not as extreme as in the south of France - so the landscape stays beautifully green too! You only have to travel a few kilometres to enjoy the mosaic of landscapes on show.
Landscape
Named after the Lot and Garonne rivers, this region is known as the land of a thousand lakes and a thousand fruit orchards. Its rolling hills exude a tranquillity sometimes lacking in the more touristy regions of France. Definitely not boring! The region is teeming with sights and excellent restaurants!
In the Lot-et-Garonne, you will find peace and quiet on holiday. The landscape consists of gently rolling hills with forests, scattered manor houses and the fruit orchards for which this region is so famous. This is France as you have never seen it before: authentic and little touristy. Visit historic Villeneuve-sur-Lot; the town you can observe from Pujols. It is larger and therefore there is more liveliness, various sights, shops and restaurants. And also, every Friday evening on Place de la Fayette, the French eat together at long tables and French Chansons are sung live. Then the city of Agen. With nice little squares, terraces and fantastic restaurants. Beautiful medieval towns like Villeréal, Monflanquin and the strategically located Tournon-d'Agenais are all nearby. The sturdy keep of Gavaudun, the huge fortress of Bonaguil and the English castle of Sauvetere-la-Lémance, the château at Duras with its vineyards; almost too much for one holiday!
