Petit Paradis Mazet is a typical cottage of the region and dates back to the 19th century. It used to be used in viticulture and olive growing. The smell of lavender and rosemary, the typical Provençal sound of crickets ('cigales') and of the wind blowing through the trees, the warm Mediterranean sun you feel, olive trees, fig trees and tall, stately cypresses, you immediately imagine yourself in Mediterranean spheres. The cottage can accommodate 2 people and possibly a child (who sleeps in the same room as the parents).
Location
Petit Paradis Mazet is quietly located at the foot of the Roc de Gachone, less than 1 km from the centre of Calvisson. Calvisson is a typical southern French village located among vineyards and olive trees with its many official hiking trails starting less than 20 metres from the property. The bakery, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy etc. are within walking distance. On Saturdays there is the traditional market in Sommières a 15-minute drive away and on Sundays in Calvisson.

Petit Paradis Mazet has a driveway with cypress and olive trees. The detached house is set in a beautiful enclosed garden of 2000m2 where the owners' house is also located but there is plenty of privacy. There is a private 8x4m swimming pool with terrace and sunbeds and a private terrace (not overlooked) with dining table, parasol, sunbeds, outdoor kitchen and electric BBQ. We, Elizabeth and Tom, do not use the pool when there are tenants. A ping pong table and a petanque court are available. Free parking is provided on site.

Petit Paradis Mazet is laid out as follows:
A large air-conditioned room that has a dining table, sofa (bed) with fireplace, smart TV with DVD (Wi-Fi only), kitchenette and a 160x200 double bed with wardrobe.
The kitchenette has a fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave oven, small vitro ceramic hob, Senseo and toaster. There is no sink inside but in this beautiful setting you will be happy to do the dishes in the outdoor kitchen.
A separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet (soap, shower gel and hairdryer are provided).
The decoration was carefully and tastefully chosen. The cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi. Bed linen, towels (2 towels per person and kitchen towels), Wi-Fi, water and electricity are always included in the price. Pool/beach towels are not included. Baby bed and high chair are available (on request).
