The house
Holiday home Charlotte is a detached bungalow with a private swimming pool. The bungalow has a spacious living room with a comfortable sitting area, wood-burning stove and French doors to the terrace. Surrounding the house is a truly enormous garden with lots of privacy and panoramic views. The terrace is equipped with lounge set, teak dining table, large swing parasol and a fixed XL barbecue.
The house is very complete and tastefully decorated. The large kitchen with spacious dining area is fully and carefully equipped with, among others, a dishwasher, combi-oven, American fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. In the adjacent utility room you will find a washing machine and a toilet.
Holiday home Charlotte has a master bedroom with a comfortable 160x200 bed and a children's room with two single and one double bed. The bathroom has a corner bath, separate shower, washbasin and 2nd toilet

Charlotte is one of five houses at domaine de Mounoy; a small-scale holiday park owned by Dutch owners. The Mounoy is an attractive domain with five comfortable holiday homes, five camping pitches and a swimming pool. Everything is there for a wonderful, casual stay in the French countryside. Our spacious and well-maintained houses are four-star rated, furnished with care and attention for a relaxing stay.
We love conviviality: barbecues together, a good glass of wine, but above all: nothing must, everything goes. The atmosphere at Mounoy is convivial and relaxed, with plenty of peace and quiet and space to really find yourself. On the 20 hectares surrounding the former wine farm, you can walk, picnic, or simply come face to face with a deer. In the school holidays, we mainly welcome families looking for peace and quiet. Children play outside and friends are easily made. At the end of the holidays, the children often don't even want to go home.

De Mounoy is located in the Gers; a rural department with sloping sunflower and wine fields. There is plenty to do in the Gers but you will not find any mass tourism here. Time seems to have stood still here; this is France as it used to be! Visit the authentic villages, brocant markets, horse races or village festivals. And be sure to visit the music festivals such as the salsa festival Tempo Latino or the 14-day jazz festival in Marciac.
The rolling landscape is suitable for recreational but also for the more fanatical cyclists and it is also great for walking. In Eauze, you can play golf at the 18-hole course of Guinlet.

Dit domein is een paradijs voor kinderen en hun ouders. De kinderen amuseren zich ongelooflijk daar in het zwembad, het speelgoed, de dieren, de andere kinderen,... het domein is erg groot en biedt rust aan iedereen daar. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn zeer gastvrij en altijd bereid te helpen, ze zijn ook heel lief naar de kinderen toe en bieden hen een onvergetelijke tijd daar. Er verblijven voornamelijk Nederlanders en Belgen daar. We zijn al 3x daar naartoe geweest en als het van de kindjes af hangt, zouden we daar elk jaar opnieuw heen gaan. Ideaal dus voor een rustgevende vakantie waar iedereen van het gezin intens van geniet.

De eigenaren; Kathy en Frits maken er altijd iets speciaals van voor de gasten. Dit kan zijn van een warm welkom tot een avond met gezelligheid.
De geweldige accomodaties waar sfeer en authenticiteit de juiste woorden zijn, bestaat er de mogelijkheid om samen met de "mede-vakantiegangers" spontaan in de avond te BBQ-en of dit jaar voor het eerst pizza's te bakken in een oven van 300 jaar oud.
Na een avond gezelligheid is het zwembad de ideale plek om de rust op te zoeken en kunnen kinderen zich top vermaken. Vooral als Frits in beeld komt bij het spel van de kinderen "dan is niets te gek en kan/mag er veel".
Het bezoeken van een locale markt, een dorp of een stad tot een dag naar de Pyreneeën bestaat tot de mogelijkheden. Eventuele activiteiten voor de kinderen zijn ook in de omgeving te vinden.
Zijn jullie toch degene die liever met een tent op vakantie gaan, zijn jullie van harte welkom op Domaine de Mounoy.
Kortom niets moet, maar alles kan en zo creëert elke gast van jong tot oud zijn eigen top vakantie.

Mooie heuvelachtige omgeving met rust, ruimte en gelegenheid om heerlijk te genieten van wat 'Gers' te bieden heeft.
De Mounoy heeft ons verrast door de gastvrijheid van de eigenaren, Frits en Kathy, de onderlinge gezelligheid met de andere gasten en de vele fijn gezamenlijke momenten. Een mooi ruim opgezet verblijf om heerlijk te vertoeven. Veel meer dan wij hadden verwacht. Super!Comment from Frits en Kathy

Restaurants, food & wine
This is the region of the Armagnac and it is a must to visit one of the many Armagnac and wine chateaus. Of course you can also enjoy the excellent French cuisine and delicious local dishes in the Gers, there are several good restaurants in the area.
On the Mounoy itself we regularly light up the barbecue or set the tables for a joint meal. The weekly culinary evening of local farmers in the village of Sos is very popular with our guests.
Activities
The atmosphere at the Mounoy is relaxed, a lot is possible but nothing is compulsory. There is always something going on around our outdoor kitchen. Frits and Kathy enjoy having a drink with you and Kathy bakes the most delicious croissants here every morning.
You have been warned, most children won't want to leave! There is no need for an entertainment team; children thoroughly enjoy the pool and looking after the bunnies and pony Bella. Friends are quickly made to play together: hide-and-seek, table tennis, chilling by the hay bales or making a campfire and watching the countless stars in the sky. Mum and dad can join in, of course! Or would you rather lounge on your terrace or by the pool?
On the grounds there is a century-old stone oven in which we can make the best pizzas together. Or we light the communal barbecue, always so cosy!
During school holidays, we mainly welcome Dutch and Belgian families. But you are also welcome in the early and late season. It is usually still sunny and nature is at its best. The peace and quiet at Mounoy, especially in the low season, is overwhelming.
