Le Manoir aux Volets Verts is nestled in SW rural France where life is slow, fresh local produce is plentiful and the roads are empty.

As you walk through the double front doors of this stunning property you enter a large, impressive entrance hall (21.6m2) with original oak curved staircase. From here you have access to a formal dining room (26m2) lit by an antique chandelier or if you prefer something more laid back sit round the large table in the kitchen with views of the garden. The kitchen is a light and spacious room well equipped with plenty of storage units, granite worktops and a central island with extractor fan and gas and electric oven (36m2). If it's alfresco you want you have the choice of a canopied terrace or you can just relax at 'The View' - highly recommended in the evenings when the sun is setting with the added bonus of a fire pit if it's a little chilly.

Le Manoir aux Volets Verts offers 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 with ensuite plus a further family bathroom and an additional shower room and WC on the ground floor.

The first floor landing (17m2) leads to 3 of the bedrooms plus a family shower room with basin and WC (6m2) and stairs up to the master suite.

The 'Four Poster' double bedroom boasts a beautiful canopied bed and chandelier plus ensuite with walk in shower, WC, double hand basins and underfloor heating. (35m2)
The 'William Morris' bedroom has the option to be a twin bedded room or king size double, subject to your requirements plus additional single bed, if required. (26m2)
The 'Dormitory' is the children's room equipped with 2 single beds and a bunkbed located in the Amazon Jungle! A Glow in the Dark starry ceiling makes this room a very special place (17m2).
The 'Pyrenees Suite' on the second floor is a truly stunning, oak beamed bedroom with ensuite shower, hand basin and WC and its own walk-in dressing room (35m2)

All bedrooms have beautifully hand-finished soft furnishings including blackout curtains to ensure you all have a good night's sleep plus an Alexa Smart Speaker and sample toiletries in case you've forgotten yours. Pure cotton bedlinen and towels are included in each room plus complimentary toiletries.

outside,a choice of wood or gas bbq is available as well as a pizza oven, if you fancy trying your hand at making your own.

When you've had enough of the sunshine the Den offers you a TV with Netflix and Amazon, a library of DVDs and Playstation Games or you can simply select a board game or listen to music. If you've still energy to burn how about table tennis or darts in the Clubhouse or a session in the gym? Outdoor games including badminton, Jenga and boules are free to use and tennis racquets and balls are available to use at the tennis court which is 5 mins drive away in the local village. If there's work to be done, a small office space is available with high speed wifi throughout the property (300mb).

When the day is done and you want to relax and watch the sun set over the hills, relax down at 'The View' with a glass of something cold and listen to some music courtesy of our bluetooth lantern, it's an experience not to be missed! Alternatively switch off, lay back and gaze at the stars - there's definitely no light pollution here!

A welcome basket of fresh produce from the garden and eggs from our hens will await you in our large, well equipped kitchen. We are on site if you wish to purchase more otherwise local boulangeries, markets and restaurants are only a short drive away.
