The house
This recently renovated cottage is centrally located in the beautiful Hérault, southern France. Located in a picturesque French village, surrounded by vineyards, not far from the Mediterranean coast, this hidden gem awaits your arrival. You can enjoy a warm and sunny climate all year round, walk or cycle from our front door, explore the vineyards of Languedoc Rousillon, and enjoy all the culture that the Hérault has to offer. The gîte of 75m2 is situated on the ground floor of a spacious detached house. There is a private entrance from the outside terrace. Surrounded by a large lush garden of 7000 m2, outdoor pool and gym, there is every opportunity for relaxation and rest. The spacious comfortable gîte consists of a living room with conservatory and very fully equipped kitchen. A spacious hall connects the living and sleeping areas and consists of a recently renovated bedroom and bathroom all in Boutique style in warm colours and in harmony with each other.

Hérault is a department in the sunny south of France at the Mediterranean Sea. The department is named after the river of the same name that runs through it. In the department, located in the Occitaine, you can enjoy wonderful beaches. Furthermore, there is plenty to discover in the department! Visit the famous vineyards, hike through the various nature reserves and enjoy the typical French cities such as Montpellier, Béziers and Sète. The beautiful lakes in the department are also worth a visit. Or pay a visit to the Grotte de Glamouse, one of the most beautiful caves of the region.

Wat een fijne plek, een super warm onthaal en niet alleen omdat het bloedheet was maar vooral door de geweldig gastheer. Marco is een topper, super begaand met iedereen en hij maakt een heerlijke vijgentaart voor welkoms attractie. De gites is mooi ingericht en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Tijdens 40 graden plus is de airco een uitkomst en het prachtige zwembad een must. Marco is veel in de weer met de tuin en dat is te zien. Super verzorgd allemaal. Daarnaast nog een professionele sportles gehad van Rob en ook dat was top. De omgeving is rustig en mooi. Voor uitstapjes moet je wel vaak een stuk rijden dus hou daar rekening mee. Een top plek. Zaterdag 5 augustus 2023 arriveerde wij met ons gezin in Prades-sur-Vernazobre, bij Marco en zijn prachtige verblijf. We werden warm welkom geheten en installeerde ons al snel in de gites. 's Avonds onder het genot van een bakkie koffie aten we de zelfgemaakte vijgentaart van Marco. Dat was echt een traktatie. 's Morgens wakker worden en op je gemak richting het zwembad en het buitenverblijf. Je hebt daar alles wat je je kunt wensen. Met de zomerse temperaturen was de automatische ijsblokjes machine onze grote favoriet. Maar natuurlijk ook lekker dat je bij het buitenverblijf een heerlijke keuken hebt van alle gemakken voorzien.
Elke dag was het heerlijk vertoeven in het zwembad. Lekker chillen op de bedjes en genieten van de rust. Zelfs onze twee kinderen (11 en 14 jaar) hebben zich er uitstekend vermaakt. De omgeving is prachtig. Goede fietspaden rond het dorp, gezellige dorpjes en met de auto zit je zo in Béziers, Séte of Montpellier. We hebben het echt zo ongeloofelijk naar ons zin gehad. Echt een aanrader! Nog altijd genieten we na van deze vakantie.

Afgelopen zomer hebben we verbleven in Boutique Gîte 5 in Prades-sur-Vernazobre.
Vanaf het warme onthaal tot en met de allerhartelijkste uitzwaai hebben we genoten van ons verblijf op deze prachtige locatie en uiterst sfeervolle gîte.
Marco en Rob hebben hier een waar paradijs gecreëerd waar het je aan niets ontbreekt. De omgeving biedt veel leuke en indrukwekkende plekken om te bezoeken en goede restaurants om naartoe te gaan. Om daarna steeds weer terug te keren naar een privé gelegen zwembad en accommodatie waar je je thuis voelt en werkelijk tot rust komt. En zelfs de mogelijkheid hebt een Body Balance en/of Bodypump les te krijgen.
Kortom: Boutique 5 heeft alles in zich wat je je in een vakantie maar kunt wensen! Dit kan ook niet anders met twee eigenaren die gastvrijheid, sfeer en kwaliteit hoog in het vaandel hebben!
We komen zeer graag terug.

Between the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park and the Mediterranean Sea lie several vineyards. The vineyards in this area are considered to be among the most beautiful in France. Well-known vineyards in this area are the Minervois and the Saint-Chinian. Guides and naturalists will take you on excursions to the different vineyards and teach you all about the French wine tradition. In addition, there are various wine-tasting events in the area. Enjoy a gastronomic walk and let yourself be admired by the different vineyards. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or not, the wine excursions and tastings are a unique experience that you do not want to miss!
Activities
Your holiday home is situated in the middle of a beautiful walking- and cycling area. From the village there are several clearly marked walking routes with beautiful views of nature. There are many special cycle paths in the immediate surroundings, the so-called 'Voie Verte'. On the old railway line between St. Chinian and Cessenon-sur-Orb there is such a Voie Verte. It is perfectly passable for regular touring bikes and mountain bikes.
Regional nature park Haut-Languedoc is for a large part in the Hérault department and covers 145,000 hectares. The mountain range lies between the high central part and the low Mediterranean part of France. The park has a diverse landscape, consisting of lakes, gorges, valleys, mountain tops and small villages. There are also several waterfalls in the park, such as the one near Colombières-sur-Orb. A relatively unknown gorge is Gorges d'Héric. The gorge, which is carved out by the river flowing through it, offers possibilities for swimming, walking or just relaxing. If you want to go higher up, you should go to Monts de l'Espinouse. The mountain, situated in the middle of the park, is 1124 metres high and gives you a beautiful view over the park.
