The house
Loft Style Boutique Villa Marilove is one of the top villas of FranceVilla. Are you looking for a truly perfect holiday home in southern France with light, space, style and class than this modern villa is exactly what you need ... also near the 18-hole golf course of Souillac situated and bathed in light this special holiday villa offers complete peace and relaxation. Do you see yourself already sitting in the jacuzzi with a glass of champagne (or Kir Royale?).
Layout of Villa Marilove
Boutique Villa Marilove has a cosy and spacious living room with sitting area, TV with satellite reception (French, English and German channels), modern luxury open kitchen including work island and bar, toilet and storage room. Three beautiful bedrooms of which one is very spacious with a king-size bed of 200x 210 cm. This beautiful bedroom is adjacent to a large open en suite bathroom with walk in shower and bath, large sink and toilet. From the bath you look right into nature (completely private). The other 2 bedrooms have beds of 180 x 210 cm (can also be used as 2 x single beds) and a shared bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. Both the living room and the bathrooms have underfloor heating while the bedrooms have air conditioning (heating or cooling). The house is extremely well insulated and has triple glass everywhere.
Exterior Villa Marilove
By opening the large double sliding doors (total 7mtr) the 85m2 large and partly covered terrace is added to the living room in no time so you can enjoy the outdoors to the max. On this terrace, you can enjoy outdoor dining, sunbathing or swimming in the large private pool of no less than 11 x 3 metres with an infinity look. Finally, there is the Jacuzzi where you can relax in the evening and enjoy the peace and unequalled starry sky.
In front of Villa Marilove is a large lawn with several trees where the children can play. The total size of the plot is over 1ha.

Boutique Villa Marilove is located 7 km from Souillac and the Dordogne River, 30 km from Sarlat and 25 km from Rocamadour. There are large supermarkets and some clothes shops in Souillac and of course many pleasant terraces and restaurants. Another idea: go in the evening for a drink or something to eat at the Golf: you do not have to take the car. You can also pay at the Golf to play tennis and of course golf! We hesitated between absolute quietness/nature and near the D15 where there is some traffic, but which does not bother you. We ourselves experience it as absolute peace and quiet and we always leave all the windows open at night because it is so wonderfully peaceful. In the summer (high season) you can sometimes hear the Golf Course on the other side of the D15 but we have never received any comments from our guests. Enjoying the starry sky that is fantastically clear here...

Restaurants, food & wine
Le Gouffre du Blagour Located on the waterfront, this very friendly "outdoor" restaurant is run by the equally friendly French Dutchmen Anne and Hans. Here you can enjoy the beautiful product "trout", prepared in different ways and fresher than fresh. The specialities are smoked and marinated trout.
- June and September : open for lunch every Sunday afternoon.
- July and August : Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime and also Saturday evenings, you will find the Gouffre de Blagour if you drive towards Souillac
and in Lamothe Timbergues you will see their colourful sign, turn left and keep driving until you see the lovely restaurant on your right! You will receive a
warm welcome! Closed out of season unfortunately.
Souillac Country Club/La Brasserie: Reasonable restaurant near the golf club.
Salads and/or daily menus at lunchtime are affordable.
Les quatre saisons: In Sarlat, you will find this romantic and very good restaurant. It has a Michelin star and a very good Perigord cuisine. You can eat outside or inside. Nice decoration and beautiful plates. You will certainly be spoiled here. A bit more expensive.
Auberge les 7 Tours à Martel: Restaurant with a beautiful view and a slightly different fusion cuisine. The owners have lived in Australia, and have a slightly broader view of the kitchen. Beautiful restaurant and good service.
La Terrasse in Meyronne: A really beautiful view over the Dordogne, the chef invites you to enjoy the regional hospitality, with products especially from the area.
L'Auberge des Marthres: Ferme Auberge with a bit more choice on the menu as Bougayrou but less special. Indoor or outdoor dining. Near Carlux, all products from their own farm.
Le Beffroi: pleasant little terrace (in the shade) in Souillac. You can also eat here reasonably well. Prices are very good, food more "bulk" because many French people come here to eat at noon.
Le Pont de L'Ouysse:
If you have something to celebrate, this is really very special. Don't forget your visa or mastercard because the prices are not cheap. But the restaurant in LaCave already has 2 Michelin stars and you are really pampered from start to finish. Expensive but special, let's just say it is via Lydia of FranceVilla!
In Souillac, a new restaurant has just been opened, Le Sanglier qui parle, special!
Furthermore, you want a lot and also good food then Tilleul is a nice idea in Souillac, but reservations!
Very good is Delicatessens in Milhac!

The town of Souillac and the Dordogne River are 7 km away, Sarlat and Rocamadour are both about 25 km. Our holiday home Marilove has been in several magazines, it is really a super well cared for, separately furnished holiday home with the most wonderful (long and big) beds! You will completely relax here!
