At 1 km from the village of Salviac, on the border of the Lot and Dordogne, on a private property of 10,000 m2, you will find holiday home "Villa Pépy", a
spacious and quietly located "FREE-standing" house, very suitable for people looking for peace and quiet.
A great place to take a break from today's worries.
Everything is on one level, no thresholds or stairs and private parking in front of the door!
The location is in a forest, fully enclosed with oak trees and greenery in the garden.

Discover the surprising Lot....
Southwest of the tourist-flooded Dordogne lies a quieter, often misunderstood area: Quercy, also called "Lot" after the river of the same name that lies at the bottom of beautiful cliffs in many places.
Holiday home "Villa Pépy", is located just outside the village of Salviac, on the border of the Dordogne and the LOT.
Nearby. Sarlat, Domme, Puy L'eveque, Gourdon, Cahors, Rocamadour, etc.
In the caves of Pech-Merle, paintings of mammoths, bisons , also the Gouffre de Padirac, with an underground river.
Also visit the picturesque village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in France, where the hiker can still imagine himself in the Middle Ages.
From Saint-Cirq Lapopie to Luzech, the Lot can be navigated by houseboats', which are rented out to holidaymakers.
You can also rent canoes in many places to go on fun trips on the Dordogne and Lot rivers.

Mooi vakantiehuis in een schitterende omgeving. De hygiëne is uitstekend en het huis is smaakvol ingericht met uitstekende bedden. De uitrusting is compleet.
Bij hoge temperaturen is het huis behoorlijk koel te houden. We hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen, de omgeving behoort o.i. tot de mooiste streken van Frankrijk.Ingrid en kees from Musselkanaal,
Meerdere keren hier geweest. Wat een heerlijke plek. Midden in de natuur. De reeën lopen vaak in de ochtend en avond door de tuin. In het het huis echt alles aanwezig je hoeft niets mee te nemen. In de hoofdslaapkamer sinds april nieuwe matrassen. Voor buiten een mooie Weber grill ( die moet je wel schoon achter laten ) in de ochtend gewekt worden door het fluiten van de nachtegaal. Een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. In september gaan wij weer voor 4 weken genieten van de rust en de ruimte en de mooi omgeving. Henk tot ziens.

Ons eerste verblijf, heel aangenaam, rust en privacy, lakens en handdoeken voorradig, opzetzwembad, buitendouche, wasmachine, echt alles was aanwezig, enorm genoten, we komen zeker nog terug!

Water lovers will enjoy the many lakes, rivers like the Dordogne, Lot and Célé, excellent swimming water and where you can also canoe and kayak.
This part of France offers unlimited excursion possibilities.
Like the world-famous Rocamadour, "stuck" against the rock face;
the Gouffre de Padirac with its underground river, on which you can take a boat and float through the caves;
Cahors and the Pont Valentré (medieval fortified bridge), St Cirq-Lapopie and the Pech-Merle cave, Figéac, St Céré, Gourdon, the Cahors wine route, and so on.

Today, Cahors is a fun town to visit. After all, there is plenty to see. Despite the town's sad history, the old town centre has largely been preserved. This old town is home to numerous fun sights like the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne, and the Pont Valentré, a medieval fortress bridge. Roman remains are also visible, such as the remains of an amphitheatre. The combination of its unique location, and the nice sights in the city itself, make this impressive city the ideal centre for your holiday in the Lot!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Use Pellet stove in the winter months. For the use of the pellet stove bags of pellets are needed, (these are wooden pellets.) These must be purchased by the tenants themselves in Gourdon, (a.o. Carrefour, Intermarche, Bricomarche, etc) The first 2 bags of pellets are free, these are already present in the Gite!
Please clean the barbecue after use!

The bedroom has an adjustable Auping bed 180x200 mtr. with 2 new mattresses 90x200 mtr and are 28 cm thick (medium-hard) !
The contents of the duvets are made of caton, (extra soft and no polyester) and very suitable for hot summer mornings.
The fitted sheets are made of flannel cotton.
Changeover days on Saturdays. Minimum stay of 2 weeks!
Pellet stove use requires bags of pellets, (which are wooden pellets)
Given the huge price increase of pellet pellets per bag, please tenants to buy them themselves in Gourdon ( a.o. Carrefour, Intermarche, Bricomarche, etc)
The first 2 bags of pellets are FREE, they are already in the Gite!
In the Gite is a JBL radio, which you can also stream with an app on your mobile phone
