The house
Holiday home "Le Tech" (80 m²) is located on the first floor of the Mas farmhouse and enjoys splendid views of the river. South-east facing, it is very bright, long and consists of two spacious bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with two singles), kitchen with dishwasher and a large living-dining room, Capacity 4 people.

We verbleven 5 dagen op het appartement op de eerste verdieping. Smaakvol ingericht appartement, een goed uitgeruste keuken en schoon. Dit appartement biedt geen eigen terras, maar men kan gebruik maken het grote terras beneden. De omgeving biedt mooie wandelroutes, en als je een klein uurtje wil rijden, kun je naar Perpignan en de zee.

We had a wonderfull time at Mas Manyaques. Unfortunatelly we had to leave after one week, we´d loved to stay much longer. We stayed in Le-Tech-Appartment, it is as beautifull but much bigger than it appears on the fotos. The mattresses were very good, the kitchen well enough equiped. We enjoyed eating on the comon terrasse, since the appartment has no balcony on its own. The only thing we missed were two more sunshades for the living room. The other families with 1 to 3 children were very respectfull and calm, there was no noise after 10pm. The pool is indeed large and a nice place to stay under the parasols. Mme Blanquier was very friendly and understanding when we arrived quite late.

My husband and I spent 11 nights there last September. Actually we extended our stay as the place is amazing. Great location in a small valley of river Tech makes the stay very pleasant. Beautifully located house was converted to 6 apartments. We stayed in 2 of them La Chapelle and Le Tech. Nicely furnished, spacious apartments have comfy beds, well equipped kitchens, Sat TV - all you need for good holidays. The bathroom in La Chapelle has huge corner bath and shower and is the size of big bedroom. The apartments were very clean.
Also the big advantage is that the place is pet friendly - we traveled with our dog.
Our hosts Lidia and Yves did everything to make our stay hassle-free. You can order fresh bread delivered every day and buy local products on site.
We enjoyed long walks and hiking. There is a lot of hiking trails around the area. Picture shows the view from our bedroom.
We have been already planning our next visit in Mas Manyaques as we miss tranquility of this place.
Restaurants, food & wine
A traditional French Catalan chef comes to the Mas at least once a week and cooks for everyone.
His dishes include Paella, Bouillbase and Boles de Picolat.
There are many gourmet restaurants in the area that we can inform you about.

Nearby Manyaques: golf, fishing, walking, canyoning, mountain biking, tree ropes course with zip line, Roman art, natural sites, swimming, or pop over to Spain to visit the pretty Camprodon valley.
And also: the Gorges de la Fou, the narrowest in the world (5 minutes from the Mas), riding lessons, horse riding, à la carte treatments at nearby thermal spas (Prats de Mollo la Preste and Amélie les Bains)

Further remarks
Because the Mas is just a small group of apartments in a lovely old country manor house in a tranquil and beautiful setting you will find that your children will have other children to play with, but there will not be too many of them, and you will have other adults to talk to but you will not feel crowded.

The cleaning fees are mandatory: 45 € for a stay of more than 2 days, 30 € for a short stay
Sheets and towels: 8 € per person, the beds will be made upon your arrival
Delivery of bread and pastries 1 € each, special breads 2 to 4 € depending on the bread
'Tables d'hôtes' in high season: 22-25 € per person. Diets: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc
