The house
Grand Quillot is a beautiful holiday home which can accommodate up to 8 people. You have a private terrace with great views so you can enjoy the pleasant temperatures from breakfast onwards. The ground floor consists of: a fully equipped kitchen, living room with the possibility to enjoy being together, reading a book, playing games or watching TV. A spacious hall connects the kitchen with the living room. There is also a separate laundry room and toilet. The first floor consists of 4 double bedrooms; 2 bedrooms have a private bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin) and 2 bedrooms share a bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin). Of course there is WIFI available. Swimming pool 6 x 12 metres with terrace is at guests' disposal.

Situated on 26 hectares of land, the Quillot domain offers breathtaking views, peace and quiet. There are 2 gites on the estate. Grand Quillot for up to 8 people and Petit Quillot for up to 2 adults and 2 children and the large swimming pool with covered terrace and summer kitchen. From Quillot you can be in the French village of Lavit (1600 inhabitants) within 1.8 km. In Lavit you have a supermarket with butcher, artisan bakery, doctor, pharmacy and restaurant/café Le Vic de Lomagne. Lavit is 1150 kilometres from Utrecht and is easy to reach by car, the international airport of Toulouse is 55 kilometres away and the TGV stops in Agen, 38 kilometres from Quillot. The Lomagne region offers something for everyone. Long walks, beautiful cycling tours, markets with fresh local produce, boat or canoe trips on the Garonne, museums or visiting a beautiful French chateau.

Uitmuntend onderkomen. Groot, lekker licht, strak en modern ingericht, schoon en oog voor detail; ideaal voor een verblijf van grote familie of groep (3 sl.kamers: 2 (zeer) grote met eigen inpandige badk., 1 met eigen badk. op de gang. Uitstekend verzorgd en alles klopt: grote hoekkeuken met servies, bestek en alle apparaten van prima kwaliteit; verder > 100 spellen, sportartikelen, volleybalstrand, groot zwembad, zitjes in de ruime natuur rond het huis. Huiskamer met TV met tientallen kanalen en streamingdiensten. Landlords Nicole en Michelle, een werelds echtpaar, zijn dik in orde en staan klaar voor advies en hulp: op verzoek wordt zó de professionele BBQ voorgereden. Ze wonen aan de andere kant van het grote huis, normaal niet onze eerste keus, maar met hen biedt het alleen maar voordelen. Omgeving: oorverdovend stil en rustig, belevenis. Met een paar interessante drukkere stadjes op ca. 25 minuten rijden. Broodjes haalden we 's ochtends op de fiets in Lavit: 10 minuutjes. Ideaal voor 2 weken, 3 weken wordt wat te lang stil, denken wij.

Restaurants, food & wine
In the immediate vicinity are several characteristic French villages including Auvillar, Lectoure, Moissac and Fleurance with their local markets, many restaurants, nice terraces and places of interest. The cities of Toulouse, Agen, Auch and Montauban are within an hour of Quillot. Here you can shop, eat and drink in countless restaurants/terraces, visit museums and enjoy the beautiful city centres.
In Lavit, there is a small market every week on Fridays. In summer, there are the "marchés gourmands" where you can sit at long tables to enjoy local specialities.
Activities
In the heart of Lomagne is a beautiful Tuscan-style country house with 2 holiday homes and a large swimming pool. The estate is situated in the middle of a hilly landscape that is reminiscent of Tuscany in everything. An oasis of peace where you can enjoy the sun, beautiful views and overwhelming nature. Grand Quillot is located on the domain Quillot, together with another gite Petit Quillot which can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. On the domain there is a 6 x 12 metre swimming pool with lovely loungers for our guests. Overlooking the pool is a large covered terrace with dining table/chairs and summer kitchen, equipped with barbecue, fridge, toilet and shower. Adjacent is a beach volleyball court, slide, climbing frame, swing, table tennis and dartboard.
The immediate surroundings offer something for everyone. Long walking routes, beautiful cycle tours, markets with local fresh produce, boat or canoe trips on the Garonne, museums or visiting a beautiful French chateau.
