The house
The estate was built in 1754 as a hunting lodge for nobility from Toulouse. When hunting disappeared and the land turned into arable farming, the lands of Escudes became plum and apricot orchards. During your stay, we will be happy to show you the remnants of these times.
The luxury Chateau flat consists of 4 beautiful bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Three with a bath and 1 with a shower. All beds can be made up with either single or double.
There is a majestic entrance hall, a lounge and a library. By the pool is the pool bar with a fully equipped kitchen. The terrace by the pool bar is a great place to hang out, from breakfast until late in the evening. On the estate we rent 2 more holiday homes. The maximum number of guests is 16.
The chateau stands in a 24-hectare park with beautiful old trees, among which the "pin parasols" can already be seen far away. Its own pond and lake, kilometres of footpaths, tennis court, beautiful swimming pool, mean you don't actually have to go anywhere during your stay. But with 2 beautiful cities Montauban at 31 km and Toulouse at 46 km, with their beautiful history and cosy terraces, these are also sure to be visited. Not to mention the numerous historical villages where in the summer months there are plenty of fêtes gourmandes (local food festivals) and vides grenier (flea, flea markets).
Because of the central location of the estate (30 minutes from the motorway and 40 minutes from Toulouse's Blagnac airport) you get to see a beautiful part of southern France which is reminiscent of Tuscany in terms of nature

At an altitude of 210 metres, our estate overlooks the valley of the medieval market village of Beaumont de Lomagne ( 6 km ) in the Tarn and Garonne, on the border with the Gers. The airport of Toulouse is at 45 km. KLM and Easyjet fly directly and we are therefore very well served by the airport. The A20 motorway is half an hour's drive away. This is near the city of Montauban, a beautiful city that is worth a visit.

We sliepen in het chateau. Erg mooi verblijf. Fijne gastheer en -vrouw. Ook voor onze baby was er een kinderstoel, aankleedkussen en ledikant. We hebben een leuke vakantie gehad!

Wat een prachtige lokatie, net zo mooi als op de foto. We zijn hier heerlijk gastvrije, hartelijke en ongedwongen ontvangen. We hebben lekker geslapen in de grote bedden op de ruime kamer. De buitenkeuken is ideaal om toch af en toe zelf te koken en om je eigen ontbijt klaar te maken. Erg mooi gebied, zeker ook met de wielrenner. We komen zeker een keer terug!

Wij hebben genoten op het Chateau: verzorgd en schoon en op en top gastheer en -vrouw maakten ons verblijf tot een eindeloze tijd. We sliepen in kamer Fleuri met onze zoon van 9. De kamer was zeer ruim met eigen ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en we hadden alle vrijheid om verder zelf wat te bereiden en zelfs toegang tot een koelkastje waar we wat spulletjes konden bewaren. Het terrein is heel groot en er is van alles te doen. Buiten het terrein van het Cahteau heb je wel een auto nodig wil je ergens te komen. We gaan in 2020 terug!

On the weekly markets you will find all the local products. Like melons, grapes, tomatoes, garlic, nuts and French cheese.

Activities
You can walk endlessly on the estate and outside. There are 2 lakes with fish. We have a tennis court, table tennis table, dartboard and a lovely swimming pool. The park lends itself to all ball sports. There is even a practice golf hole. The area is beautiful for cycling, quite hilly, so good leg muscles or electric help is necessary.
