The house
On our domain with 4 Gites we have the Gites Le Mauzac and Le Syrah, ideal for a family with children from 6 years old or two couples.
Wonderfully light, open and a private terrace and garden. The beds are large and comfortable, the showers are open and the kitchen is modern. There is a seating area
with many books and a lovely terrace with chairs and table. WIFI.For children there is a trampoline, table football and table tennis and of course the swimming pool!
Also lots to do for kids in the area, activity park, canoeing, mine museum, river and more.
As there are stairs it is not practical for children under 6 years old.

Le Mauzac and Le Syrah are located in a historic 250 year old wine farm nestled among vineyards. This holiday home is located in the 'golden triangle' between Cordes sur Ciel, Albi and Gaillac, all just a 15 minute drive. Many restaurants, also within walking distance. The supermarket is a 10-minute drive away and many markets in the area. A beautiful and practical location.
Toulouse is 45 min drive so you can easily come by plane, Easyjet or Ryanair.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad bij Puech Blanc. Mooi terrein met charmante, leuke gites (en lekker bed!). Ik voelde me gelijk thuis met de hartelijke ontvangst van Andrea en Ian. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van de welkomst maaltijd op de aankomstdag. Heerlijk gegeten en het was heel gezellig om de andere gasten te ontmoeten. Je hebt helemaal je eigen plek, maar je komt elkaar natuurlijk wel tegen bij het mooie zwembad. Dus aanrader om even met elkaar kennis te maken.
Het was ontzettend warm in de week dat wij er waren, dus we hebben heel veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Super!
Elke dag een vers eitje door de kippen gelegd op ons terras. De kat kwam elke dag een knuffeltje halen. Je kan brood bestellen, dit staat dan 's ochtends voor je klaar. De vijgen werden net rijp, dus ook nog elke dag vijgjes plukken. Uitzicht op de wijngaarden, alle rust en stilte. Tegelijkertijd de gezelligheid (als je wilt) van de andere gasten en de hosts. Ambiance all over.Wij gaan normaliter elk jaar naar een andere bestemming, maar hier gaan we zeker nog een keer naar terug. Het is ook een prachtige streek en we hebben nog lang niet alles gezien.
Tips: Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel en natuurlijk Albi (met de bijzondere Kathedraal Sainte-Cecile)

We hadden een heerlijke week in en om Le Pigeonnier. Andrea en Ian deden er alles aan om ons een fantastische week te bezorgen met heerlijke ontbijtjes, leuke tips, het maken van reserveringen, het organiseren van een jeux de boules wedstrijd en van een wijnproeftrip met alle gasten die dat leuk vonden. Erg gezellige sfeer, maar nooit het gevoel dat iets opgedrongen werd. We hebben echt een topweek gehad!!

De gite ligt heerlijk rustig in een mooie omgeving. Van alles te zien op korte afstand, de Bastidedorpen, Albi en ook Toulouse is eenvoudig te bereiken.
Het zwembad is een fijn zoutwaterbad. De gastvrouw Andrea is erg hartelijk en doet alles om je het naar de zin te maken. Het huisje, de pigeonnier zelf is vrij basic.
Restaurants, food & wine
You can taste wine everywhere, the winegrowers now mostly make organic wine. There are more than 100 individual winegrowers and we are happy to take you along to taste.
Andrea prepares a tasty meal with local produce from her vegetable garden on Saturdays so you don't have to cook that day. There are many different restaurants nearby, also within walking distance.
Many different Bastide villages nearby such as Cordes sur Ciel and Albi with the famous museum of Toulouse Lautrec.
IAN GETS FRESH BREAD EVERY DAY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST.
Activities
Wonderful canoeing on the river Aveyron. Hiking directly from our domain. Rent our electric mountain bikes and explore the particularly beautiful surroundings.
Eating together under the plane trees. Delicious affordable restaurants in our area. Albi with the famous museum of Toulouse-Lautrec and the beautiful Cathedral. Visit the many apéro concerts and enjoy nature, markets, music and wine.
For children there is a super activity park nearby, Cape Decouvert and a tree climbing forest.
Or nothing at all at the lovely pool.

In our bread shop we have created a SHOP where we sell local products such as wine, biscuits, homemade jam and apple juice.
