The house
Perched on a hill on 2200 sqm of land, Le Mas Provencal is a luxurious villa with a stunning view on vineyards and lavender fields All rooms are airconditioned and are equipped with wireless internet connection. All bedrooms have comfortable new beds and matrasses.
Ground Floor: In the living room you will find a cosy settee around the fireplace, a desk with very fast wireless internet. There is allso a 42 inch LED-TV with Dutch channels, a DVD-player/recorder with 100 top films, an X-box game computer withe the popular game Kinect, and a stero set.
The fantastic fitted kitchen is equipped with all amenities, with a large oven, a hob with 6 burners, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a double door fridge. There is a second tap for unlimited filtered water from the well. On the ground floor you will find also a shower room, a separate toilet and 2 spacious bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). From the livingroom there is a door to a covered terrace (30sqm) with spacious dining area, luxury bbq and panoramic view.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a lovely roof terrace.

Around the unique, designed pool (9x5 m) set in the landscaped gardens with palm trees and meditteranean vegetation, you will find 80 sqm of spacious terraces with deckchairs and cushions, and large parasols. The swimming pool is equipped with a 'nage contre courant' , which enables you to swim against the current or enjoy a lovely water massage. Allso on the terraces and around the pool wireless internet will be at your disposal.
Le Mas Provencal is situated 25 minutes from the Meditterranean Sea. Nearest coast towns are Sainte Maxime and Saint Tropez. Cannes is 45 minutes drive and Monaco 1 hour 30 minutes.
Lorgues is a pittoresque town with houses in warm colors, lovely shops and terraces. The Provecal market on Tuesday mornings is famous; you will find not only clothes but allso varied local produce.
Whithin a short drive are the nice towns of Flayoc (8kms), Tourtour (panoramic view on the sea), the cascades of Sillans le Cascade (15 kms) and the world famous Lac de Sainte Croix, with its bright blue water and the beautiful unspoilt nature.
At 1 km of Le Mas Provencal is a small supermarket and a bakery with lovely bread and cakes. Larger supermarkets are in Lorgues, and at 10 kms in Salernes.

Net terug thuis van een TOPvakantie!
Wij hebben enorm genoten van het mooie huisje, heel erg rustig gelegen, geen inkijk van buren. Alles heel netjes en mooi. Zalig! We hebben al vaker een vakantiehuis gehuurd, maar nog nooit kregen we een topontvangst zoals bij Bram en zijn team! Bij aankomst stonden ons al enkele leuke attenties te wachten, zo fijn na een lange autorit! We voelden ons meteen welkom! Ook onze 2 hondjes hebben genoten. Zij mochten dan wel niet in het zwembad, maar hadden vlakbij een prachtig zwemparadijs aan de rivier met zijn watervalletjes en stranden.
Door het wisselvallige weer de dagen voor onze aankomst was de waterkwaliteit van het zwembad niet meer ‘100%’ naar Bram zijn normen. Meteen werd dit gefixt door Bram en zijn team. Omdat we hierdoor enkele uurtjes niet in het zwembad zouden kunnen , kregen we meteen de sleutel van een huisje een beetje verderop waar we mochten gaan zwemmen.
Bram en zijn team doen er alles aan om je een zorgeloze vakantie te bezorgen en dat merk je in alles.
Het huis is voorzien van zoveel comfort, airco in bijna alle ruimtes, een ruime gerieflijke keuken met grote oven. Zelfs vaatdoeken/theedoeken en enkele vaatwasblokjes en waspods waren aanwezig. Door de wasmachine konden we tussendoor al eens een wasje draaien.
1 nadeel: we konden via satelliet de Belgische zenders bekijken, waardoor de tour de France bijna dagelijks door de huiskamer klonk 😀. Ook voor de lezers onder ons is er een ruim aanbod aanwezig aan boeken en tijdschriften. Ook films en ik geloof zelfs videogames en console, wat fijn kan zijn met tieners.
De omgeving is zeer de moeite waard, Lorgues is een heel mooi en gezellig stadje. Zeker en vast de markt op dinsdag doen! Zelden zulke grote markt gezien, met een zeer verscheiden aanbod. Lekkere restaurantjes, de prachtige rivier, …. . Minder dan een uur rijden naar het grote meer Lac st Croix of naar de kust.

Alles was tip top in orde. Ik had het geboekt met als doel om er een huwelijksreis van te maken. Bram heeft ervoor gezorgd dat het een onvergetelijke vakantie werd. Leuke romantische versiering van slaapkamer en extra hapjes voor ons speciale 1e nacht. Huis was netjes, lekker privacy voor het zonnen en zwemmen. Airco's in alle kamers. Aanrader !

Restaurants, food & wine
In the area there are many restaurants where they serve meals for very reasonable prices. In and around Lorgues there are over 40 restaurants, for instance the world famous Bruno, where every dish is prepared with truffles. There is something for every taste and every restaurant has a children's menu.
To make sure you get value for money:
- go where the French eat; where they go the food is good and not expensive
- choose the day menu (often about 10 euros)
- or choose the 3-course menu (often about 17 euros)
- take a can of wine instead of a bottle, just as nice and much cheaper.
The Provence is famous for its beautiful (rose) wines - go and visit a wine chateau!
Activities
In the near surroundings there is canooing on the river (2 kms), riding is at 5 kms (through the lovely nature), and on the coast and Lac de Sainte Croix you will find all the watersports.
For children there are several playgrounds, an adventure park (10 kms) where children can climb from tree to tree (secured). All through summer there are several circusses and festivals in the area. In Frejus (30 kms) there is an Aqualand with water glides and wild water streams and so on.
