La Maison Nid is located in the region of Limousin, South West France, one of the least densely populated areas of France. Lush green landscapes, rolling hills, rivers, streams, swimming lakes with beaches, woodlands, chateau and pretty villages. The Dordogne is 30 minutes to the south with even more tourist attractions and the dramatic Atlantic beaches and Bordeaux are 2 hours drive away.
Limoges Bellegarde airport is 30 minutes to the north by car, with direct flights from Lyon, Marseilles, East Midlands, Bristol, Leeds, Stansted and Manchester. Trains from Limoges to Paris take 3 hours 30 minutes. Calais to La Maison Nid is 7 hours by car.
